The trailer for season 2 of ‘A Thousand Blows‘ suggests tough times ahead for Stephen Graham’s character, Sugar Goodson. The popular crime series, created by Steven Knight – the mind behind ‘Peaky Blinders’ – quickly became a hit after its release on Hulu in February 2025. The show is set in 1880s London and centers around a female crime gang clashing with the brutal world of bare-knuckle boxing.
After a successful first season, A Thousand Blows has been picked up for a second season, set to launch next year. The show boasts a talented cast including Graham, Erin Doherty, Malachi Kirby, James Nelson-Joyce, and Hannah Walters, and the new season promises even more complex relationships between the characters.
According to Hulu, the new trailer shows the powerful boxing boss of London’s East End bringing together both allies and rivals, seemingly to face a shared threat. At the same time, Hezekiah Moscow and Mary Carr, the leader of the Forty Elephants gang, are making their own moves – Moscow even starts a fire that could cause a lot of damage.
