A Tale of Thieves: Ultimate Guide to Clash Royale’s New Season

Following the exciting birthday celebrations in March, the new season for Clash Royale titled “A Tale of Thieves” has arrived, bringing an array of fantastic additions. The update in April also introduced significant modifications such as the removal of the Season Shop, a redesign of the reward system, the abolition of chest timers, and increased daily earnings of crowns, gold, cards, and lucky drops.

Amidst all these thrilling (yet perhaps slightly overwhelming) developments, A Tale of Thieves appears as a strong continuation. This installment introduces a fresh six-elixir Champion card, an intriguing Evolution, four weekly events and challenges, tower cosmetics, themed emotes, and numerous other exciting features.

Here’s a quick look at everything that’s dropped in Clash Royale this April.

Latest Battle Arena

Initially, a fresh combat venue named “Stolen Crown Arena” has been introduced. Gone is the previous birthday theme, replaced by this sleek new design that brings an exciting edge to your gaming experience. Keep an eye out for its appearance in the Events tab during special events and challenges.

New Cards and Evolutions

Up next, you’ll encounter the Boss Bandit. She is the most recent Champion introduced to the game, bringing the total number of Champions to eight – a group that includes characters such as Goblinstein, Little Prince, and Mighty Miner. The Boss Bandit charges at opponents, becomes invisible, and suddenly teleports backwards during battle, which can easily confuse your adversary. Additionally, her ability regenerates instantly when her health drops to 50%.

Additionally, the Executioner received an upgraded one-round transformation. Upon transformation, his axe deals stronger blows and repels surrounding opponents, increasing his lethality in close combat situations. Give him a try in the unique event or acquire his evolved form via the Diamond Pass.

• Tower Skins (Premium): Bandit Tower Skin and Royal Delivery Tower Skin.
• Emotes (Paid): Three Boss Bandits, two Evo Executioners, and two other emotes.
• Banners: Nine unique banners you can unlock by winning in Challenges and through Pass Royale.

Card Boosts and Tournaments

• Card Buffs: Executioner, Bandit, Firecracker, and Rascals.
• Global Tournament: Standard (April 11-14) and Triple Draft (April 25-28).
