A Quiet Place 3 finally gets the exciting update fans have been waiting for
The anticipated third installment of “A Quiet Place” is set to kickstart its filming process soon, as it receives an exhilarating update.
The horror franchise tells the story of people who have survived an alien invasion, with the blind creatures relying on their strong sense of hearing to hunt their prey. The first two instalments focused on the Abbott family, with a prequel – A Quiet Place: Day One – showing the first days of the invasion.
After the third movie in the main series was postponed following the premiere of “Day One”, fans have been curious about when they can catch up with Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and her family again, but now they receive good news as producer Brad Fuller has shared some insights on the film’s future.
The person clarified that “Day One” is not the third installment of “A Quiet Place,” as some might have speculated, but rather a new project entirely. They also mentioned that when they made the first “A Quiet Place,” John Krasinski was just starting his directing career after finishing “The Office.
Currently, he’s extremely busy with numerous requests coming in, making it challenging to secure his time… At the moment, he’s engrossed in filming a new project. Once he completes this, fingers crossed, he will devote himself to [“A Quiet Place 3“]. We eagerly anticipate wrapping up this trilogy, and I’m optimistic that there may be additional “Quiet Place” films following it.
Whilst A Quiet Place 3 is still some time away, Lupita Nyong’o did recently talk about the storyline in A Quiet Place: Day One, which saw her character battling a terminal illness in the face of an alien invasion.
“[She] is really facing their mortality, even before this apocalypse takes place, and whose life is slipping between her fingers,” she said. “I think that it was a very risky story that [writer-director] Michael Sarnoski chose to tell.”
