The story of *The Rapture* follows Gabs Fox, a forensic psychologist, as she encounters Bethany Krall, a teenage murder convict in a psychiatric hospital who insists she has psychic abilities.

The series is being produced by Mammoth Screen, the company behind shows like *Code of Silence* and *Noughts + Crosses*. Betsan Morris Evans (*Maternal*) and Joanna Crow (*Supacell*) are the producers, with Madeley, Rebecca Durbin (*Towards Zero*), Tom Leggett (*Code of Silence*), Damien Timmer (*McDonald & Dodds*), and Danielle Scott Haughton (*Beyond Paradise*) serving as executive producers.
