After a gap of five years, Lady Gaga is set to grace the MTV Video Music Awards stage once again.
This week, it was announced that the 39-year-old global sensation, who’s been occupied with her successful Mayhem Ball Tour around the world, is set to join an impressive roster of celebrities.
On Saturday, it was shared on the official Instagram account of the awards show that there would be a magical atmosphere since Lady Gaga would be performing her recent hits at the VMAs stage.
She’s set to become part of an exciting roster featuring artists like Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone, Tate McRae, J Balvin, and numerous others.
The MTV Video Music Awards is scheduled for September 7 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
The thrilling announcement follows hot on the heels of the Abracadabra songwriter appearing alongside Jenna Ortega at Netflix’s Wednesday Graveyard Gala in New York City this week, prior to the release of their cameo appearances in the second act of the popular series’ season two.

Previously, Lady Gaga graced the VMAs stage alongside Ariana Grande for a performance of their hit dance-pop collab, “Rain On Me,” which was back in 2020.
Besides her eagerly awaited stage appearance, Lady Gaga is also predicted to win numerous accolades at this year’s event.
This year, the singer-songwriter takes the top spot with a total of 12 nominations across various categories, such as Video of the Year, Artists of the Year, and Best Album.
Gaga currently holds 18 Video Music Awards (VMAs) and her supporters eagerly await her potentially earning additional honors this year.
This year also marks the third time that Gaga led MTV’s list of VMA nominees.
In 2010, she was at the top of the list with 13 nominations, and she achieved this position once more in 2020, tying for first place with a total of nine nominations. This means that on two different occasions, she received a significant number of nominations, placing her among the most recognized individuals or works.
Right now, Gaga is singing her popular songs during her current tour that’s backing her seventh album titled “Mayhem.
She kicked off her Mayhem Ball Tour in Las Vegas back in July.

Gaga plans to carry on performing in numerous cities across the United States and Canada, culminating in a final three-show stint in Chicago from September 16th to 18th.
Subsequently, she plans to travel across the Atlantic Ocean and explore cities such as London, Stockholm, Milan, Barcelona, and Berlin. Towards the end of November, she will conclude her European tour with four performances in Paris.
First, she plans to travel to Australia in December, and afterwards, she’ll fly to Japan to begin the New Year with two concerts in Osaka and four in Tokyo, which are scheduled for late January 2026.
The artist is hinting at an upcoming single titled “The Dead Dance” before her eagerly anticipated appearance in Wednesday.
She’ll show up in the second half of season two, premiering alongside her fresh track on September 3.
This upcoming weekend, I’ll be gracing the stage on September 7th at the MTV Video Music Awards, and it’s being hosted by none other than the legendary LL Cool J! Can hardly contain my excitement!
