In the video, it seems like he’s pointing out that some people, presumably in law enforcement, are inside RAV-4 vehicles, and they appear to be stopping and questioning individuals on the street.

In Pontezuela, they have arrived. Instead of allowing people to live peacefully and work, the singer from MONACO went on to say, they are causing disturbance.

A crude video emerges amidst ongoing ICE enforcement actions targeting immigration on the island, leading to more than 500 arrests since January, with around three-quarters of those detained being of Dominican descent, as reported by NPR.

According to the report from the outlet, less than 80 of those held had any prior criminal history, and the most frequent offense among them was unlawful re-entry following deportation.

During President Donald Trump’s second term, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has intensified its enforcement activities in Puerto Rico. For quite some time, immigrants from the neighboring Caribbean country have been permitted to open bank accounts and secure driver’s licenses with their immigration status indicated, as reported by The Los Angeles Times.

The Associated Press reports that more than 55,000 Dominicans currently reside in Puerto Rico.

In response to the actions of ICE, Bad Bunny has been vocal in his criticism, joining a chorus of other prominent Latin music artists expressing support for immigrant communities through their public platforms.

As reported by The Los Angeles Times, artists such as Becky G, Junior H, Grupo Frontera, and Maná have lately expressed worries regarding the raids.

8-time platinum musician Junior H shared his thoughts on Wednesday, posting a picture with the caption: ‘There’s no such thing as an illegal person on occupied territory.’

Additionally, he made public a declaration from his clothing line, Sad Boyz Apparel, stating that some proceeds will be allocated towards meeting legal expenses faced by families affected by ICE operations, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.

Many other famous figures have added their voices to the mounting criticism, expressing disapproval over the mass deportations that took place during the Trump presidency.

Actor and producer Eva Longoria called the raids ‘inhumane’ and ‘hard to watch.’

The actress from Desperate Housewives found the comments and responses to them astonishing since they appear to be against American values. We can all concur that no one desires criminals in our nation. No one wants rapists, no one wants drug dealers, no one wants unscrupulous individuals in our country. However, what is actually occurring, she asserted, is not the case.

These events – such as birthdays, school graduations, and shopping trips to Home Depot – are where these incidents occur. It’s important to clarify that the individuals involved aren’t criminals, as Longoria stated.

Kim Kardashian, whose sister Kendall Jenner was romantically linked with Bad Bunny in 2023, expressed on Instagram: ‘It’s okay when we’re told that ICE is intended to safeguard our nation and apprehend dangerous criminals. However, when we observe innocent, diligent individuals being forcibly separated from their loved ones under cruel circumstances, it’s crucial that we voice our concerns. We must act justly.’

On the weekend, Jenna Ortega encouraged her 37.2 million Instagram fans to feel outraged regarding the operations conducted by ICE, as expressed in one of her posts.

‘The world seems to be in pain everywhere. People living in Los Angeles find themselves disrupted from their usual lives and relationships… Relationships they have carefully nurtured over time, much like your own… Sadly, innocent citizens in Iran are finding themselves caught up in conflict. The voices of Palestinians continue to go unheard amidst the everyday news cycle. My thoughts are burdened, my heart grieves,’ the actress wrote expressing her feelings.

Pay attention to each other, show compassion, yet don’t suppress anger. Strive for knowledge continually. It’s a luxury to turn a blind eye or claim something isn’t your issue,” she emphasized.

Additionally, Addison Rae expressed her feelings, stating that she was both ‘deeply saddened and troubled’ by the events unfolding throughout the country.

In this nation, immigrants are essential for its survival. Every individual has the right to live in a setting where they feel secure, cherished, and accepted.

Finneas, the songwriter and Billie Eilish’s brother who is also a singer, declared that he was exposed to tear gas during a tranquil demonstration in Los Angeles recently, as stated by Billboard.

The artist behind the song “Nobody Like U” shared: ‘I HATE ICE… If you support this fascist behavior, you’re small-minded, weak, and ultimately destined to fail.’

Meanwhile, political tensions surrounding the raids continue to escalate.

Recently, California Governor Gavin Newsom filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, claiming they unlawfully seized control of a CalGuard unit. He argued that this action has needlessly heightened tension and instigated disorder and violence in the Los Angeles area.

The legal action identifies Donald Trump, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and the Department of Defense as defendants, contending that the seizure contravened the Constitution and overstepped the president’s powers as defined by Title 10, as stated in Billboard.

During the weekend, Trump advocated for the intensification of ICE activities, suggesting they should focus more on apprehending and deporting undocumented immigrants in major U.S. cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. He referred to these cities as ‘the heartland of Democratic influence.’
