Production on Season 2 of ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms‘ is underway, and the show has added three new actors to its ensemble.
Who is joining A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 cast?
The upcoming Game of Thrones spin-off has announced three new cast members. Lucy Boynton, known for her role in Bohemian Rhapsody, will play Lady Rohanne of Coldmoat, also called the Red Widow. Babou Ceesay, who starred in Alien: Earth, will portray Ser Bennis of the Brown Shield, and Peter Mullan (Westworld) will play Ser Eustace Osgrey of Standfast in the Reach.
Three new actors will be joining Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell in the upcoming season of the show. After the success of Season 1, Season 2 will follow Dunk and Egg as they get caught up in a local conflict during a dry summer in Westeros. The new season will have six episodes, and according to showrunner Ira Parker, it will be similar in scale to the first season.
The upcoming series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, is adapted from George R. R. Martin’s story, Dunk and Egg. It follows the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and Aegon V Targaryen (Egg), and takes place about a century before the events in Game of Thrones. The first season will have six episodes.
Before the story of Game of Thrones began, roughly a hundred years earlier, Westeros was explored by two unexpected heroes: Ser Duncan the Tall, a brave but inexperienced knight, and his small squire, Egg. This new series takes place during the reign of the Targaryen dynasty, when dragons were still a recent memory. The pair will face great challenges, formidable enemies, and thrilling adventures as they forge an unforgettable friendship.
