A HUGE Love Island star snubs ITV’s offer to return for All Stars spin off as they confess that the ‘sight of the villa gives him anxiety’

A well-known cast member from Love Island has declined ITV’s invitation to reappear in the villa for the All Stars special, admitting that just thinking about it brings on feelings of anxiety.

26-year-old Wes Nelson gained popularity during the 2018 season of the ITV2 dating program Love Island, where he developed a relationship with Megan Barton-Hanson and ultimately placed fourth.

Even though the celebrity might be involved in a romantic partnership, ITV nevertheless contacted Wes and invited him to participate in their upcoming All Stars show.

In an interview with FUBAR Radio, he stated: ‘They asked if I might be interested, and after discussing it with them, I explained that I’m currently in a committed relationship and no longer feel up for it.’

Later on, Wes shared some insights about his experiences with internet trolling. However, he admitted that these incidents have now become amusing to him and he even shares a chuckle about them with his partner.

He said: ‘I do get them, don’t get me wrong, I get some and I find it dead funny.

I often share things with the person I’m with, whether it’s my spouse or someone else. Some of them have quite impressive creativity.”

At present, he’s contracted with the global recording company, Sony Music Entertainment. He previously shared with his followers that this association is likely to pave the way for his upcoming record label, named Foot Down Records.

This would allow him to release music independently while still receiving support from Sony.

Wes is known for his songs Nice To Meet Ya, See Nobody, and Abracadabra with Craig David.

In February 2023, he revisited Love Island during its inaugural All Stars season, and Craig accompanied him, potentially leading to an uncomfortable encounter with his former flame, Arabella Chi.

In March, Wes admitted he was ‘not thinking about his ex’ when he made the appearance.

At the Lynx fragrance event in London, Wes shared with TopMob that he was concentrating on delivering an impressive performance, and he showed no interest in running into his ex-partner.
