In the movie titled “The Amateur“, Rami Malek plays the role of a quiet yet genius CIA analyst. Tragedy strikes when his wife perishes in a terrorist incident, prompting him to take action independently and pursue justice.

Following its cinema release earlier this year, viewers can catch the movie on Disney+ from today.

The film is frequently likened to “Slow Horses”, as evidenced by Digital Spy’s four-star review, which describes it as both engaging and satisfying, promising to fulfill the cravings of viewers who appreciate the Apple TV+ series.

In an interview with Digital Spy earlier this year, Balfe shared her experience of collaborating with Malek for the first time professionally, despite having been acquainted with him socially for approximately ten years prior.

She remarked that he’s an exceptional actor, possessing a deep vulnerability and strong stage presence. Interacting with him feels like he’s truly immersed in the moment. It was delightful to discover subtle details that added depth to their on-screen relationship, even though their shared past was mostly implied.
