It’s been confirmed that Paramount+ is launching a captivating new UK thriller featuring actors Martin Compston from “Line of Duty” and Aimée-Ffion Edwards from “Slow Horses”. The series is called “The Revenge Club”.
According to J.D. Pennington’s forthcoming novel, “The Othello Club,” the storyline revolves around six individuals who have experienced heartbreak, and their paths intertwine when they meet in a divorce support group.
In this captivating and amusingly ominous thriller-mystery, a group of individuals initially attending therapy sessions end up turning these sessions into a form of justice aimed at those who’ve harmed them.
Following a deal that will shape their destinies, the six-episode show chronicles how this unconventional alliance develops among its members.

Initially serving as a means of emotional release, events soon take a dark turn, and the once playful acts of retribution transform into something lethal. As the boundaries between righteousness and homicide become increasingly unclear.
In the cast along with Compston and Edwards are actress Meera Syal from “The Wheel of Time”, Sharon Rooney known for “Barbie”, Douglas Henshall who starred in “Shetland”, and Chaneil Kular, a cast member from “Sex Education”.
Completing our ensemble are Amit Shah, Aoife Kennan, Rob Malone, Niamh Walsh, Wil Coban, Christina Bennington, and Eoin Duffy.

Sebastian Cardwell, the deputy chief content officer for Paramount+ UK, expressed: “The working title ‘The Revenge Club‘ is an engaging, fashionable, and humorously dark thriller.
