A frail Paul Hogan, 85, is pushed along in a wheelchair as he returns home to Australia amid rumours the icon is moving back Down Under for good
Paul Hogan is back in Australia amid reports he’s moving home for good.
This week, an 85-year-old actor made his arrival at Sydney Airport, being guided there in a wheelchair from the terminal.
With multiple airport staff assisting him, Hogan was ushered outside to waiting transport.
The legend appeared slender and frail, and was buckled into the chair with a seat belt.
Paul donned a warm ensemble for the cold climate, sporting a black coat over a blue dress shirt and coordinated pants.

His arrival in Sydney fuels speculation that the celebrity might be moving back to Australia on a permanent basis, as talks about his return have grown louder.
For several decades, Hogan has chosen to stay in the United States, primarily because he’s dedicated to caring for his struggling son, Chance, who is 27 years old.
Instead, following a recent report, it appears that Hogan is now planning to go back home, as he received his son’s approval. This decision comes after observing the beneficial impact of his journey to Down Under on his father earlier in the year.
As I, a die-hard fanatic, can attest, I’ve never felt more vibrant and robust in what seems like ages! Amazingly, even Chance concurs – the Australian adventure has proven to be a revitalizing experience for us both, as shared by an insider.
‘Chance has long known he’s the reason why Paul remains in the States’ they continued.
However, this latest journey served as an eye-opener. He’s come to realize the significance of his father spending his later years in familiar surroundings. He now feels that doing so could prolong his life.
Since their divorce in 2014, following 24 years of wedlock, Chance has been residing with his father in Los Angeles.
Last November, some concerning images surfaced of me, casually strolling and grabbing a cold one in the quaint backstreets of Venice Beach, not far from the shared residence I have with my father.

After achieving fame with the 1986 action-comedy film Crocodile Dundee, the legendary actor, born in Sydney, decided to relocate from his native land.
Hogan shares son Chance with second wife Linda Kozlowski, who was his Crocodile Dundee co-star.
The actor made the move to settle with Linda in Los Angeles in the ’90s.
Apart from that, he is father to several kids, including sons Brett, Clay, Scott, and a daughter named Lauren, with his ex-wife Noelene Edwards.
Hogan recently shared details on his relationship with his wayward son.
As an ardent admirer, I recently had the privilege of conversing with Richard Wilkins from The Today Show about a fresh take on the timeless classic, Crocodile Dundee.
Hoges expressed his desire to establish a long-term residence in Australia again, but he is choosing to remain in the United States for now, due to his youngest son, Chance.
He responded, “This is where I feel at home,” when asked about returning to Australia for the film promotion.

After being asked by the emcee about his plans for moving to Australia, he casually responded, “I’ll go there tomorrow.
However for the time being he needs to remain in Los Angeles.
‘I have business reasons and my son to stay in the States for now,’ he said.
When queried about the status of his struggling son, he replied, “He’s doing relatively well.
He receives plenty of sensational news, yet his true character is poor, as he seems to play up to the media attention, acting in ways that are designed to please them.
Chance recently sparked concern for his welfare back in January.
In my fervor, I frequently post clips on my Instagram Stories, savoring moments where I’m engrossed in a glass of wine and letting the world hear my slightly tipsy chatter, all from the comfort of a public setting.
In my world, as I take a moment to sip from this glass, I can’t help but reflect on how things have evolved – not necessarily for the better.

He adjusted the camera to focus on his face and the laptop swayed slightly as he tried to keep it stable during his speech.
In January, Hogan stepped out for an uncommon public event, gracing the red carpet at the premiere of the remastered version of the 1986 film, Crocodile Dundee.
Paul became widely recognized in the ’80s as he starred in the iconic outback adventure series, playing Mick ‘Crocodile’ Dundee across three movies.
The movie star received a nomination for an Academy Award in the category of Best Original Screenplay, and he also took home the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor due to his outstanding acting skills.
At the OpenAir Cinema located within Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens, an updated version of the film was screened, with a brief, approximately 2-minute segment deemed inappropriate being removed.
The remade movie has been heavily criticized by audiences, who labeled it as “overly politically correct nonsense” following the removal of certain iconic sequences to appeal to a contemporary audience.
Instead, Paul shared during the debut that he wholeheartedly approved of the alterations in the final version, emphasizing that this wasn’t an issue of staying “woke”.

In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I’ve been privy to this trend for quite some time now. It didn’t originate from a place of ‘wokeness’, but rather, it began its journey organically.
They indicated to me, stating, “He’s renowned as a global folk hero, yet he should not be inappropriately touching people.
I agreed with my thoughts, ‘It was correct to remove it.’ He acted unknowingly, but carelessly, and it’s best that the action is no longer there.
Paul further commented that the revised edition of Crocodile Dundee experienced an extraordinary surge in popularity after receiving a G rating in the UK, allowing it to be shown before the evening’s watershed.
