A forgotten Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans comedy has just been added to Netflix

The comedy film “The Nanny Diaries,” featuring Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans, which had been left untouched for a while, is now available on Netflix.

2007’s movie features Scarlett Johansson as Annie Braddock, a fresh graduate from university, taking on the role of a nanny for the young son (Nicholas Reese Art) of a wealthy pair who are known to be somewhat troubled, with Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti portraying these characters.

Alongside taking care of a demanding child who is accustomed to getting his way and keeping his parents happy, Annie has the added challenge of juggling her academic responsibilities and a blossoming relationship with a charismatic Harvard student portrayed by Evans.

Despite earning a reasonable reaction from viewers, the movie “The Nanny Diaries” received a blend of positive and negative feedback from critics. As of now, it has a 34% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 131 reviews.

The movie garnered a slightly higher approval from the public with an 51% rating, with one viewer commending Johansson’s “friendly” and “identifiable” portrayal. Another spectator also appreciated the film for its “endearing” quality, while another termed it as “heartwarming”.

Despite Evans coming back to the series, Johansson has no plans for her character to follow suit.
