A Different World Star Cree Summer Stuns Fans with Unexpected New Look!
During a recent outing in Los Angeles, actress Cree Summer from “A Different World” appeared noticeably different.
On a Sunday, the acclaimed actress, aged 55, who has lent her voice to more than 100 animated characters throughout her distinguished career, spent a delightful day browsing at a neighborhood flea market with her companion.
She was spotted navigating her vintage treasures with a collapsible shopping trolley on the streets of the open-air market, as she searched for items to bring back home.
While out and about, she expressed her lively and unique fashion sense by donning a vibrant ensemble suitable for summer, composed of short-sleeved denim shorts cut off at the knee and an over-sized T-shirt adorned with bold graphics on the upper half.
Accompanied by an effortlessly chic appearance, she donned her distinctive tall hat, tinted sunglasses of a sunny hue, and a scarf in red that was wrapped around her neck.
For her excursion, the voice actress of Rugrats styled her long, dark hair into two neat pigtails and seemed to have minimally applied makeup.

She added a brown leather belt featuring a gold, leaf-shaped buckle, along with numerous thick, coordinating bracelets.
She completed her look with knee-high socks paired with motorcycle boots.
Recently, Summer openly discussed her life following the divorce, which occurred when she parted ways with her former partner, Angelo Pullen, earlier in the month.
She was previously married to the film producer for nine years from 2013 and 2022.
In a Sandra Rose article published on May 2nd, she revealed that over the course of their ten-year marriage, she experienced a decrease in her sexual desire, discussing feelings of loneliness and love along the way.
Summer, renowned for her memorable portrayal of Freddie Brooks in A Different World, recently stated that she’s experiencing a revitalization of her sexuality as she’s now post-menopausal and feeling emotionally free.
She expressed her current enthusiasm about the prospect of starting a romantic relationship and pursuing someone in a manner that’s new to her, unlike anything she’s attempted before.
She mentioned that she’s never pursued or asked out a man romantically, but expressed her desire for a genuine companion, referring to having a husband in the process.

As for me, finding someone who can share the ups and downs of life with, igniting mutual excitement along the way, is truly what I yearn for. That certainly sounds ideal to me.
Instead of viewing her marriage’s conclusion as a brand-new vehicle, she likened it more to an aged automobile when discussing why people might stay in relationships for extended periods due to loneliness.
Who would prefer to part ways and end a relationship? However, at times, an old vehicle may simply stop functioning, having reached the end of its journey.
Or, more informally:
Who wouldn’t rather stay together? Yet, sometimes, that car just can’t keep going anymore… It’s had its day, figuratively speaking.
She added: ‘I believe loneliness might be the main reason I found myself in situations where I should have thought, “That doesn’t seem right. But look at his fancy vehicle…”‘
She also talked about embracing aging as she acknowledged feeling unseen as an older woman.

As a woman, regrettably, you tend to fade into obscurity a bit more as you grow older. For many years, I was preoccupied with maintaining an image of vanity, but now that I can no longer do so, I find myself in the latter part of my life and don’t worry as much about appearances. However, it remains challenging to navigate this town.
She also shared her thoughts about being a 55-year-old woman living in a city like Los Angeles.
She shared that this location doesn’t seem to offer chances for me. I rarely receive invitations for dates. In fact, I haven’t been asked on a date at all. It’s unclear if it’s because I’m 55 in Los Angeles or if the town is simply peculiar. It’s an unusual sensation, contradicting expectations, as I feel more beautiful now than I ever have before.
‘I seem to have found my authentic self, particularly in terms of facial expressions, physical presence, and personal style. It feels strange not to be noticed or recognized as often.’
