As a lifelong fan who’s been through countless editions of “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, I must say, this new deluxe illustrated box set is nothing short of a dream come true! I remember the first time I read those books as a young lad, huddled under my blankets by the dim light of a flashlight, lost in the magical world of Middle-earth. The thought of revisiting these tales with such stunning illustrations and maps is beyond exciting!
