Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield’s British drama has received a new streaming home in the UK.
The narrative of “We Live in Time” follows the journey of a skilled chef named Almut Brühl, portrayed by Pugh, and Tobias Durand, a marketing executive, played by Garfield, as they experience the highs and lows of their affectionate partnership over time.
Starting this coming Saturday, 5th of July, individuals who didn’t catch the movie in theaters earlier this year, or those seeking to re-experience the heartwarming tale, can now do so by streaming it on Netflix UK.
Currently, American viewers have the opportunity to stream the romantic drama instantly on HBO Max.
Under the guidance of director John Crowley, the film “We Live in Time” unfolds in an unconventional sequence, spanning approximately ten years. The story follows the journey of a couple as they navigate significant milestones in their lives, ranging from pregnancy to health challenges, and all experiences that come in between.

In a somewhat awkward manner, Crowley believes that the captivating chemistry shared by Pugh and Garfield in their film will entice viewers to rewatch it multiple times, as suggested by Varity.
As a devoted fan, I find myself pondering over when Almut and Tobias’ recollections will blend with ours, making the chronology of events less crucial.

In their three-star appraisal, Digital Spy noted a few inconsistencies in the plot, yet commended the exceptional acting skills of the principal performers.
Though the film’s plot has an odd pacing, it could easily pass as a typical run-of-the-mill sentimental romance flick – but the exceptional performances of the main actors set it apart.
In this tale, Florence Pugh, who plays the spirited Almut, and the gentle Tobias portrayed by Andrew Garfield, serve as its emotional core. Their outstanding acting skills beautifully compensate for any potential voids in emotional depth that the script may have left.
We Live in Time is available to stream on HBO Max in the US, and from 5 July on Netflix in the UK.
The inaugural printed issue of Digital Spy’s magazine, “British Comedy Legends,” is out now! You can purchase it from your local newsstands or online for only £3.99.
