A “chilling” new British thriller based on a story with “a twist you won’t see coming” gets first look

Channel 5 has shared a first look at its “chilling” upcoming British thriller The Rumour.

The new show is based on Lesley Kara’s novel and features Rachel Shenton as Joanna, a motherly role.)

As Joanna and her son Alfie relocate to a tranquil town seeking peace, her suspicions grow towards the local residents upon discovering whispers about a supposed child murderer living among them.
