A brutal boxing knockout, BYB Extreme roasts Conor McGregor & Virna Jandiroba’s big night
As a long-time combat sports fan and observer of the ever-evolving landscape of MMA and boxing, I’ve seen it all: the highs and lows, the upsets and the expected victories, the drama and the heartbreak. But one thing is for sure – nothing quite compares to the thrill of a knockout.
In this new daily feature, I’ll analyze and share my perspective on the latest combat sports news from various sources. Be sure to visit every morning for updates on noteworthy or intriguing stories.

An intriguing moment from the night didn’t involve Mike Perry getting knocked out by Jake Paul. Rather, it was the harsh knockout inflicted on Ashton Sylve by Lucas Bahdi that generated the most buzz.
Prior to being knocked unconscious and crashing onto the Celsius cans in the ring, Sylve was the clear front-runner in the fight. However, the unexpected turn of events left him lying there for some time. The scene was both terrifying and grueling, living up to spectators’ expectations. Remarkably, before that pivotal moment, Sylve had dominated every round. Simply put, it was a rollercoaster ride of chaos.
BYB Extreme is firing back at Conor McGregor after Mike Perry comments
I was disappointed to see how Conor McGregor handled the situation after losing to Jake Paul. As a big fan of both McGregor and Mike Perry, I had hoped for a more sportsmanlike response from the UFC legend. It’s important for fighters to show respect towards their opponents, especially in the heat of competition.

Following Jake Paul’s knockout victory over Mike Perry, Conor McGregor, who co-owns BKFC with this win, used Twitter to dismiss Perry from the organization. Alongside Perry’s termination, McGregor added derogatory comments towards him and his recent professional advancement.
Greg Bloom and Mike Vazquez hold valid perspectives. It’s harsh and disrespectful for someone to add insult to injury by kicking someone when they are already down. McGregor has experienced being in Perry’s position, and if roles were reversed, he would not have wanted Dana White to act the way McGregor did. Regrettably, this incident seems to be inviting more negative consequences for McGregor.
Virna Jandiroba submitted Amanda Lemos and called for a title shot
Large triumph for Carcara! 🤩 Virna Jandiroba clinches victory through a formidable armbar in the second round at UFC Vegas 94. #UFCVegas94

At UFC Vegas 94, Virna Jandiroba expressed her desire to earn the next title opportunity. To demonstrate her worthiness, she convincingly submitted Amanda Lemos in the competition.
Jandiroba has earned her success. Having put in the necessary effort, she now stands to enjoy the fruits of her labor. The sole obstacle I perceive for her is Tatiana Suarez, but given her health concerns, it remains uncertain if she will be fit enough to compete when required.
