Kat Graham revealed she welcomed a baby boy, sharing sweet photos on Instagram on Thursday.
Kat Graham, age 36 and known for her role in The Vampire Diaries, and her husband Bryant Wood, who she married last year, have announced the name of their new baby.
‘Welcome to the world Prospero “Spero” Nyemah Wood’, they wrote.
Kat looked beautiful and happy while holding her new baby and taking pictures in the nursery.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child back in December.
She announced she’s expecting a baby by sharing a series of black and white Polaroid photos showing off her growing belly, with the excited caption: ‘We’re having a baby!!! ✨’
In some photos, Kat gently held her stomach while showing off a fitted turtleneck sweater. Other pictures featured glimpses of a low-cut satin bra.
Her husband joined in the pictures, sweetly posing with his head on his wife’s stomach and chest.
The upload was soundtracked to Rick James’ 1981 hit song Give It To Me Baby.
Kat re-shared the post via Instagram Stories and reiterated: ‘Baby on board!’
Bryant posted a short video of him and his partner dancing while cooking Thanksgiving dinner.
He captioned the clip, ‘Happy Thanksgiving from the Wood Family! We are having a baby!’
Kat and Bryant eloped in 2023, and had another wedding on their two-year anniversary in August.
The expectant mother explained to People magazine in October that they wanted another wedding celebration, considering their initial ceremony wasn’t a traditional one.
She remembered that their elopement was very private. They had a simple ceremony at home with just their dogs present as witnesses.
It was special and romantic, but for this celebration, we really wanted to share our joy with family and friends, the star explained.
One hundred and twenty guests celebrated the wedding at a private estate in Mountain Center, California.
Her husband added that what he valued most, after everything else, was how enjoyable and playful the experience was – the fun it brought.
I really wanted to bring a bit of fun and playful energy to my home, so I had a ‘mini ranch’ built! The highlight? Definitely the mechanical bull. We turned it into a competition, and naturally, I came out on top – I’m pretty competitive when it comes to wellness and having fun!
The couple also wanted to prioritize a blending of their backgrounds and cultures.
Kat explained she was hoping for amazing Italian food – especially pasta – and an atmosphere where everyone felt cared for and comfortable.
We also wanted to celebrate our family backgrounds by incorporating elements of both our cultures: African music, reflecting my Liberian heritage, and Italian food, to acknowledge Bryant’s Sicilian roots.
