Bobby Norris worried fans on Thursday by sharing photos of his swollen and bruised face after having more cosmetic surgery.
The 39-year-old reality star, known from “The Only Way Is Essex,” appeared to have difficulty speaking in a recent Instagram video. He shared a detailed update with his followers about his recovery from a face and neck lift, as well as surgery on his lower eyelids.
His eyes were swollen and barely open, and his cheeks and eyebrows were covered in dark purple bruises.
It was heartbreaking to see Bobby. His head was completely bandaged, the wrap pulled tight and fastened under his chin. And they’d had to put surgical drains in his neck, which was just… a lot to take in.
He began by saying good morning and asked if anyone wanted tea or coffee, settling on tea himself. He added with a smile that it was soothing for his throat, calling it ‘nectar’.
He proudly displayed his breakfast, which included tomato, cucumber, and a little cheese, plus two bread rolls and a selection of jams and preserves.
The TV star shared a post about their first breakfast after surgery, but emphasized that their morning juice was the real highlight!
‘Are you a Tea or a Coffee person in the morning?’
Fans expressed worry about his appearance and many commented, reassuring him that he’s already handsome and encouraging him to do what makes him happy.

Bobby shared an update on his recovery from surgery on Monday, and he looked quite different as he’s still healing.
Okay, so I’ve been hearing from Bobby, and honestly, he looked pretty swollen after his recent procedures. He shared with his followers that he’d had some work done around his eyes – specifically, lifts and a lower blepharoplasty, which is a surgery to remove excess skin under the eyes. He actually had an upper blepharoplasty last year, and this was the follow-up to address the lower eyelids. It’s understandable he was a bit puffy afterwards!
I had surgery yesterday, and today is my first day recovering. I wanted to give you a quick update on how it went.
I recently had a facelift, surgery to improve the lower eyelids, and a neck lift.
Gazing at his reflection he joked: ‘We’re not getting the Vogue cover this month’.
Bobby shared a video with the caption: ‘Just had a face and neck lift, plus surgery on my lower eyelids – all done yesterday. Here’s how I look today, one day after the procedures!’
The biggest changes will happen in the coming weeks, so be patient and allow time for recovery.
