Warframe is launching on Android this February 18th, 2026, with Canada getting a week-early head start

Warframe is launching on Android devices on February 18th, 2026, bringing the complete game to mobile. Digital Extremes announced during Devstream 192 that the mobile launch will happen in two stages.

Players in Canada will be able to start playing the game on February 11th, a full week before everyone else. The game will then be released worldwide. This Android version comes almost two years after the game was first released on iPhones and iPads around the world.

Players control powerful Warframes, each with unique abilities and playstyles

Warframe, a sci-fi action game where you play as a powerful warrior called a Tenno, was originally revealed for mobile devices in 2021. It’s famous for its exciting story, quick and fluid movement, and lets you complete missions using a combination of parkour, close-combat fighting, guns, and unique abilities.

Warframe became available on iOS devices in February 2024 after a thorough testing period, and currently there are no plans to release it on other mobile operating systems. An Android Closed Beta started on November 28, 2025, and the full Android launch is expected a few months after that.

To play Warframe on your Android phone or tablet, it needs to have certain specs. Specifically, it requires a 64-bit processor (ARM64), Android 12 or a newer version of the operating system, and at least 4GB of RAM. Phones or tablets that don’t meet these requirements might not be compatible when the game first launches.
