Millie Mackintosh shares what she eats in a day after being in ‘survival mode from long periods of stress’ following split from husband Hugo Taylor

Millie Mackintosh explained she changed her eating habits because she had been operating in ‘survival mode’ due to prolonged stress.

Okay, so this is a tough one, but I’m hearing that Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor have decided to go their separate ways. After seven years of marriage, they’ve split, and it’s always sad to hear when a couple decides to move on. It’s a reminder that even seemingly perfect relationships can face challenges, and sometimes the best thing to do is part ways.

Millie recently shared a look at her daily diet on Instagram, explaining how she’s adjusted it to balance her hormones.

Millie started her day with a spicy morning shot of olive oil, lemon, and cayenne pepper, followed by a breakfast of Greek yogurt topped with blueberries, berry compote, granola, and nut butter.

Next, I tried a mix of supplements, like broccoli sprout extract, vitamins, and omega-3s.

Millie started her lunch with a protein shake and decaf coffee, followed by a meal of bacon, eggs, sweetcorn fritters, avocado, and roasted tomatoes.

I had a Medjool date and a few Brazil nuts for an afternoon snack, and a light dinner of chicken broth with brown rice.

For her pudding she had a nut butter chocolate.

Millie wrote: ‘What I eat in a day to support my hormones.

I’ve spent the last year learning more about what my body needs. I tried a very strict keto diet for about a year, and it had some benefits, but detailed hormone and blood tests showed me I needed to change my approach.

I’ve been working with a women’s health coach, @balancedboss_, and recent testing revealed something surprising. Like many successful women who balance careers, family, and everything else, my body had been in a constant state of stress for a long time, essentially operating in ‘survival mode’.

If your body’s stress response stays activated for too long, it can impact your energy levels, mood, and even your hormones.

‘So instead of restricting food, the focus now is on nourishing and stabilising the body.

‘That means consistent, warm, nutrient-dense meals built around:

‘– Protein for hormone production and stable energy’.

‘– Healthy fats to support brain and hormone health

‘– Fibre and complex carbohydrates to balance blood sugar and support the nervous system

Focus on foods like eggs, salmon, chicken, brown rice, avocado, olive oil, oats, sweet potatoes, leafy greens, and plenty of berries.

I’m not aiming for perfection, just to give my body what it needs to heal, function normally, and gradually restore hormonal balance.

‘Sharing a realistic day of what that looks like for me’.

Millie and Hugo announced they are separating on February 2nd, ending their seven-year marriage. They share two daughters, five-year-old Sienna and four-year-old Aurelia.

The couple first became romantically involved while appearing on the reality show Made In Chelsea as teenagers, and they’ve been married since June 2018.

Millie and Hugo have separated and decided to go their separate ways, according to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail.

After knowing each other for a long time, they recently had some difficult talks about their future and have decided to separate.

Their children and family are the most important thing to them, and they never wanted to get divorced.

They’re currently figuring out what it would be like to live separately and how they’ll work together to raise their young children.

The beginning of the year has been really challenging, and they’re hoping to deal with things privately going forward.

People familiar with Millie and Hugo’s situation say they are dedicated to raising their children together and keeping a warm, family atmosphere, and their kids remain their main focus.
