Nadiya Bychkova says her body ‘has to dance for many years to come’ as she tries out high tech ‘recovery’ treatments after being axed from Strictly

Nadiya Bychkova is focused on staying in shape for her dancing career, trying a new high-tech recovery treatment after being eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing. She wants to ensure her body remains healthy enough to dance for years to come.

The 36-year-old professional dancer was a long-time favorite on the BBC dance show, but show officials decided not to renew her contract this week.

After some wonderful news, I was lucky enough to escape to Turkey and stay at the absolutely stunning Regnum The Crown. It’s a truly luxurious experience – we’re talking around £3,000 a night! It was the perfect getaway to recharge and soak up some sun.

On Thursday, she posted a video on Instagram of herself using the Huber Motion Lab, a motorized platform designed for physical therapy, workouts, and shaping the body.

Even after leaving Strictly Come Dancing, Nadiya Hussain plans to continue dancing for years to come. She recently shared that she was exploring ways to support her body’s longevity and recovery at the Huber Motion Lab, writing, ‘Testing the Huber Motion Lab… Longevity and recovery for the body that has to dance for many years to come‘.

Nadiya was also at Morning Live to present a Strictly fitness regime on Wednesday.

During the live show, the dancer avoided talking about being eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing. Instead, she showed Gethin Jones and the other guests how to do a dance move from one of Shane Ward’s performances.

Nadiya hasn’t commented on leaving the show, and the BBC hasn’t announced this year’s cast yet.

I was so relieved to read in the Daily Mail that those rumors about her being dropped from the main team because of her age are completely untrue! It’s great to know they’re ‘well wide of the mark,’ as they put it. I always knew she had what it takes, and it’s fantastic to see that confirmed.

The decision not to renew her contract actually stems from her difficult behavior behind the scenes and her close friendship with Dan Walker, who she competed against in 2021.

Her demanding and difficult behavior upset her colleagues, and her recent split from Kai Widdrington, 30, created uncomfortable tension among the professional dancers, making it awkward for them to work together.

The couple’s two-year relationship caused problems with their managers, who prefer to avoid having former partners work together to maintain a positive team environment.

Someone familiar with the show explained that while ‘Strictly’ is meant to be fun and entertaining, a sense of competition is essential for it to be successful.

Network executives hope the professional dancers will approach the competition seriously and help their celebrity partners perform at their best. They want to see strong performances without any overly aggressive or bullying behavior, as past seasons have unfortunately faced controversy over such issues.

Nadiya hasn’t had much success in her last three partnerships with celebrities, including Matt Goss – she hasn’t even reached the top 10 with any of them.

To maintain the show’s quality, we’re hoping the next person to join the lineup will be successful.

This year, several professional dancers won’t be returning, including Michelle Tsiakkas, 30, Luba Mushtuk, 36, and Gorka Márquez, 35.

On Tuesday, the Daily Mail reported that Karen Hauer, a professional dancer on the show since 2012 and the longest-serving female dancer, has been let go.

Even though Karen had been on the show for 13 years, she only recently found out about the decision.

Karen’s recent dance partners on the show have included Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, the star of Gladiator, as well as former footballer Paul Merson and comedian Eddie Kadi in 2023.

The Daily Mail reported that BBC executives are keeping Katya Jones on the show because she’s a fan favorite, even though they’re facing other challenges.
