With the Oscars just around the corner, Marvel enthusiasts believe a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will be revealed during the show.
Awards season wraps up this weekend with the Academy Awards, taking place on March 15th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. This year, Sinners and One Battle After Another lead the nominations, and the ceremony will also feature a reunion of stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Katy Mullan, the executive producer of the Oscars telecast, hinted at a special reunion of the cast of Bridesmaids, and a Marvel-themed gathering for fans of superhero movies.

We’ve already seen four short previews for the Marvel movie coming out in December, and there’s a small possibility a full trailer will air during a live broadcast’s commercial breaks.
When news of the Marvel stars’ reunion spread, one excited fan tweeted about the possibility of a trailer for the upcoming Doomsday movie.
‘”Thats a nice way to say we’re getting a Doomsday trailer,” another one wrote after doing the maths.

The directors and producers of Doomsday, Joe and Anthony Russo, recently explained the meaning behind the four short teasers. These teasers showed snippets of individual stories focusing on original characters like Captain America (played by Chris Evans) and Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth).
In an interview with Empire magazine, Joe Russo explained that each trailer released offers clues to the overall story. He went on to suggest that, for viewers, the main conflict of the story – what he calls ‘Doomsday’ – has already begun unfolding.
Stay tuned for updates on how a potential trailer shown during the Oscars might connect to the larger puzzle surrounding Doomsday.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 18 December.
