Millie Court revealed she warned show bosses she’d leave Love Island All Stars if her former boyfriend, Liam Reardon, became a contestant.
The couple first won the show in 2021. After a short split in 2022, they officially ended their relationship last September.
Millie, age 30, has shared that she was anxious about her ex-boyfriend joining the show, but she told producers she’d quit if he did, as she didn’t want to rekindle their relationship.
After appearing on the show, Jamie Laing asked his guest if she’d been concerned the producers would introduce Liam as a new contestant.
Honestly, I was a little concerned at first, but I knew he’d been putting all his energy into getting his gym up and running. He just launched a new business, and it honestly didn’t seem like something he’d normally get involved in, so it surprised me.
I doubt that would have been successful. If he had tried it, I wouldn’t have either, honestly.
Oh my gosh, can you believe she said that?! Basically, she explained she’d already done the whole ‘living with an ex’ thing – they did it in the first season, remember?! – and she just didn’t want to repeat it. She wants this experience to be something new for her, and honestly, good for her! It’s like, she’s moved on and wants something different, and I totally get it. She deserves that!
I have no interest in getting back together with him, and I definitely don’t need to be in a relationship like that – it just feels strange to even consider.
Let me tell you, navigating life after a relationship is hard enough, but sharing a villa with your ex? Huge respect if you can make that work – truly! Personally, though, that’s just not for me. I need a clean break and some space to move on, and that situation feels… complicated, to say the least. It’s all about prioritizing your own peace of mind, and for me, that means no exes on vacation!
I told the producers that if this person joined the show, I would quit. I made it clear that even if I was already filming, I’d walk off the set if he came in.
Millie was especially hoping Jack Fowler would be the next contestant to enter, as he was a past islander she’d been secretly dreaming about.
Okay, so I totally admitted I had a crush on Jack Fowler! It’s just… he’s exactly my type. Tall, seriously good-looking… but ugh, apparently everyone else thinks so too. So many girls were asking for him, it was crazy!
Millie found success on her second try at the villa, finishing as the runner-up with Zac Woodworth from Love Island USA.
Just before the runners-up were announced, Millie shared that Zac wanted to visit her in the UK for a couple of months, and she was planning to travel to the US to see him again.
Sources say Welsh influencer Liam ended the relationship, leaving Millie heartbroken and prompting her to take a vacation with her friends to get over it.
A source said: ‘Liam and Millie tried to make it work but eventually it just wasn’t meant to be.
Everyone assumed they’d break up after their first split, so it’s amazing they’ve stayed together this long, considering they live in Wales and Essex – quite a distance apart.
‘But Liam just wasn’t feeling it towards the end and it was he who instigated the breakup.
‘Millie is gutted but is being a trouper and getting on with life, supported by her girls.’
