Marvel Studios just released a short, 15-second trailer for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. The main highlight was the new logo for the show. Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil (Matt Murdock), will be sporting a new suit this season, featuring a distinctive logo of two interlocking ‘D’s on the chest to represent the hero. Marvel is really emphasizing this new symbol, having featured it prominently on posters and now in the latest promotional materials.
Marvel Studios recently released a new promotional clip for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, and it’s evident they want viewers to focus on the show’s updated Daredevil logo. The logo appears right at the start of the footage and remains prominently displayed throughout the entire clip.

The advertisement showcases the logo in various styles. At the beginning, for instance, it appears with a classic, serif typeface.

The logo steadily approaches the viewer, creating the illusion that the camera passes directly through it. Just as one version of the logo vanishes, a new one instantly takes its place.

The new logo appears again, centered on the screen but looking distant. This time, it has a spray-painted effect, with visible drips running down from the bottom.

Similar to the initial logo, this one gradually moves towards the viewer until the camera appears to go right through it.
The ad then shows the original logo again, exactly as it appeared before, before cutting back to the spray-painted version.

For the remainder of the segment, one of the two logos is consistently shown on screen, alternating between the two until the ad finishes.
The trailer includes clips from the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again, but it mostly highlights the show’s new logo.

The show includes a quick shot of Daredevil breaking through a wall, but it’s easy to overlook the action itself. The logo is so prominent that it naturally draws your eye, almost like it’s hypnotizing you and making it hard to focus on anything else.

The ad features two logos that, despite looking quite different, actually represent the same brand. One logo is clean and polished, conveying a professional image, while the other is more casual and a little rough around the edges.

What Do the Two New Daredevil Logos Represent?
The recently released teasers for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 feature the logo in two distinct styles. These variations might hint at the different facets of the character we’ll see in the new season.
The logo’s classic, carefully designed version with the little feet on the letters could symbolize Daredevil’s thoughtful and strategic side. This version of the character carefully plans his actions, makes decisions based on facts, and acts more like a typical superhero.
The second logo has a rougher, spray-painted look, reflecting Daredevil’s raw, instinctual side. It embodies the violent, hidden part of his personality that emerges only when things get desperate. This logo represents his vigilante persona, in contrast to the cleaner, more heroic image of the other logo.
Marvel Studios seems to be hinting that we’ll see two sides of Daredevil in Season 2 of Born Again. It’s still unclear how much screen time each version will get, but if Kingpin proves to be a serious threat, Matt Murdock will likely have to embrace a more ruthless and reckless side of his personality.
