Will Ferrell is teaming up with Netflix for a funny new series about an athlete attempting a major comeback. Known for his sports comedy roles, Ferrell will play a quirky character in the golf world, potentially as memorable as his famous role as Chazz Michael Michaels in Blades of Glory.
Netflix just dropped a first look at The Hawk, a new comedy series coming this summer. Will Ferrell stars as Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, a former top-ranked golfer trying to make a comeback after his success peaked in 2004. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
