Kelly Osbourne met with her addiction coach on Tuesday, and she says the coach helped her turn her life around.

As someone who’s been in the public eye for a while, I’ve learned to develop a thick skin, but even I was shaken by the negativity I received after the Brit Awards. It’s incredibly hurtful when people resort to cruel comments and try to tear you down – especially when they focus on your appearance. I’ve openly shared my struggles in the past, including a difficult period in my teens, and it’s disappointing to see others attempt to diminish your worth with dehumanizing attacks. It’s a reminder that kindness and empathy are so important, and that we all deserve to be treated with respect.

Kelly recently connected with Amanda Martin, the founder of Courage To Change, and shared the meeting on her Instagram Story.

The singer and a companion took a cheerful selfie while traveling, and shared it with the caption: ‘This is Courage To Change coaching.’

‘She is my life saver. I love this woman more than anything in the world.’

Amanda has personal experience with recovery, having been in recovery herself since 2001, and currently works in the field of addiction services, according to her website.

Kelly Osbourne has publicly discussed her struggles with addiction, revealing it started during her teenage years while growing up in the public eye as the daughter of rock star Ozzy Osbourne.

The TV star, known from her family’s MTV show that aired from 2002 to 2005, revealed her opioid addiction started with a Vicodin prescription she received after having her tonsils removed at age 13.

She went sober in 2017 but suffered a small slip up after lockdown when everything opened up again. 

Kelly recently criticized online ‘trolls’ for their harsh and dehumanizing comments after she attended the Brit Awards in Manchester.

Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter accepted a Lifetime Achievement award on his behalf at the ceremony, honoring his career after his passing.

While the evening focused on celebrating Ozzy’s life, Kelly also unfortunately received some negative comments regarding how she looked.

Kelly addressed the recent criticism this morning, stating that there’s a particular meanness in targeting someone who is visibly struggling.

It hurts when you criticize me when I’m already struggling, dismiss my feelings, share my personal difficulties with others, and then aren’t there for me when I really need you.

She explained that these actions didn’t demonstrate strength, but rather a deep lack of integrity. She shared that she was facing an incredibly difficult period and felt she shouldn’t need to justify herself. However, she refused to let anyone treat her with such disrespect.

Kelly recently responded to online criticism about her weight loss before attending the Brit Awards with her mother, Sharon, calling out those who were ‘body-shaming’ her.

Kelly and her mother, Sharon, age 73, both wore black outfits as they posed for photos together upon arriving at the Co-op Live Arena.

People have become genuinely worried about her health and wellbeing, especially after she attended several public events recently, including a noticeable appearance at London Fashion Week on Sunday.

The singer and TV star, who has said she hasn’t used weight loss injections, appeared much thinner at a recent fashion show in Mayfair’s Claridge’s hotel.

She has publicly condemned the people harassing her online, revealing they sent hateful comments, including a disrespectful one about her father, Ozzy, who died last July.

The British TV star has often discussed her struggles with body image, which began when she was a teenager appearing on her family’s reality show, The Osbournes.
