‘Emotional’ Anne-Marie issues an apology as she brands motherhood ‘intense’ and says she’s ‘still figuring out how to be a good mum’: ‘I look and feel like a wreck’

Anne-Marie recently shared that she’s still learning what it takes to be a good mother, admitting that motherhood has been a very intense experience.

The singer revealed in May she’d welcomed her second child, son Forever Sugar, with her husband Slowthai.

Anne-Marie has been taking a break from social media since the beginning of the year. She recently posted on X, explaining that she’s been less active online while adjusting to life with two children and apologized to her followers for being ‘distant’.

Anne-Marie, who shares two-year-old daughter Seven with her partner, admitted she doesn’t often share details of her life online because she usually ‘feels and looks terrible.’

I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed today. I apologize for being a bit withdrawn lately. I’m not sure if it matters to you, but I care a lot, and I’m really trying my best to handle things well.

I’m juggling motherhood and working on my new album, and it’s really challenging. I’d love to share updates, but honestly, I’m usually exhausted and don’t feel up to it.

I realize that probably doesn’t matter to you, haha. I really miss everyone and hope you’re doing okay and feeling as good as possible. I could really use a hug!

Anne-Marie recently revealed that her life has changed, sharing a reflective post about the year and some personal photos of herself with her two children.

She announced the arrival of her new baby, writing a heartfelt message about 2025. She expressed gratitude and shared that she’s grown and changed significantly this year, embracing the positive transformation.

I’ve changed a lot this year, and I truly embrace it. From how I look to how I feel, everything is different – and it’s wonderful. Change can be scary, but it’s also beautiful. I’ve connected with some amazing people, and starting ADHD medication has been a game-changer, helping me feel less anxious and more confident and at peace.

Honestly, I can’t wait for 2026! I’m so excited to be a mom of two and really dive into my art. I feel incredibly grateful for everything I have – seriously, everything! That includes all of you, even the little things like my vacuum cleaner, my love of peanut butter, and of course, my amazing family. There’s so much more I could list, but let’s just say I’m feeling pretty blessed right now! Haha.

I’m really optimistic about 2026 and believe it will be a fantastic year – possibly the best yet! Let’s look forward to it, make plans, and embrace life, even with all its challenges. I’m grateful to share this journey with all of you. I’ll see you next year!

As someone who’s followed a lot of celebrity journeys, I recently heard Anne-Marie chatting on Capital radio, and she shared some really personal plans! She mentioned that she feels complete after having two children – a girl and a boy – and doesn’t plan on having any more. She playfully mentioned that naming her song was the biggest challenge, explaining that since her son, Seven, has such a distinctive name, they couldn’t simply give it a common name like Barry.

The actress shared that she recently received a diagnosis of gestational diabetes during her current pregnancy.

This pregnancy, I’ve developed gestational diabetes, which is frustrating because it means I have to avoid foods like cereal and bread,” she said.

Gestational diabetes typically develops during the middle and later stages of pregnancy, leading to high blood sugar levels that can pose health risks for both the mother and the baby.

Anne-Marie revealed she’s been experiencing unusual cravings during her pregnancy, saying she suddenly had a strong desire for steak – something she’s never eaten before.

She became pregnant again after a challenging year in her relationship with her husband, Tyron Kaymone Frampton, also known as Slowthai.

I was so thrilled to hear the wonderful news! It came just after Tyron, 30, was cleared of very serious accusations – the charges of assaulting two women were dropped, and it’s a huge relief to see things moving forward for everyone involved.

He became visibly emotional and cried after he and his fellow defendant, Alex Blake-Walker, 27, were found not guilty of charges related to an incident at a 2021 performance in Oxford.

After a two-week trial, the jury reached a verdict following ten hours of discussion. The trial involved two defendants who claimed they were assaulted on September 8, 2021.

Following his performance at The Bullingdon in Oxford on September 7, 2021, Slowthai reportedly met two women and, along with Blake-Walker, joined them at a house party hosted by a friend.

Two women reported being sexually assaulted on the building’s roof. However, Frampton strongly denied the allegations, stating they were false and the women were not telling the truth.

After the recent news, Anne-Marie shared that it had been a very difficult year for her. In an Instagram post, she hinted at the allegations, saying she felt like God was testing her strength.
