Eric Rosenbrook, known from 90 Day Fiance, is challenging the findings of the autopsy conducted after the death of his baby daughter, Alisa Eleanor, last summer in Wisconsin.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m following this story closely. It seems Rosenbrook and his wife, Leida Margaretha, are taking extra steps to understand the recent autopsy results. They’ve hired their own medical examiner to independently review the findings originally provided by the Adams County Health and Human Services Department. Leida’s lawyer, Taylor Hart, shared this information with the Daily Mail yesterday, and it’s understandable they want a thorough and unbiased assessment.
As a long-time follower of this case, I was really struck by what Hart reported – the independent medical examiner actually disputes the agency’s finding that the baby’s death wasn’t an accident. It seems they don’t agree with that conclusion, and that’s a significant development.
Hart stated that Margaretha continues to maintain her innocence and would never intentionally hurt her child.
As a devoted follower of this case, I was shocked to learn that the medical examiner our family hired thinks the first autopsy was seriously flawed – basically, they believe it wasn’t done well at all. It’s incredibly frustrating and just adds to our need for answers.
According to Rosenbrook, a recent independent review shows that Adams County officials missed important procedures and details during their investigation, as he told TMZ on Tuesday.
According to Rosenbrook, important standard procedures weren’t completed. Sources also revealed that the initial autopsy didn’t clearly explain a fracture found on the five-week-old infant.
Rosenbrook told TMZ that a medical examiner the family consulted suggested Margaretha may have been injured during delivery, as she had a C-section.
According to Rosenbrook, a private medical examiner believes the child’s broken rib likely happened during CPR, as detailed in the report.
Rosenbrook stated to TMZ that he and his partner have disputed the conclusions reached by the Adams County Health and Human Services Department.
Rosenbrook said that Health and Human Services officials didn’t respond to their inquiries about the problems they raised.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office ‘has not found Leida at fault,’ Rosenbrook told TMZ.
Rosenbrook described Child Protective Services (CPS) to TMZ as an overly aggressive agency, saying they tend to overreact to situations, treating all parents as if they’ve done something wrong. He went so far as to call them ‘fascist’.
The Adams County Health and Human Services Department reports that the investigation is still ongoing and no one has been charged with a crime at this time.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following this story, and it’s heartbreaking to share that over the last two years, Leida and her husband really wanted to start a family and tried everything they could to have a child.
I was so invested in their journey, and honestly, my heart broke for them. They really wanted a family and tried everything – they hoped, they wished, they even prayed. But sadly, they faced so many devastating losses, including several miscarriages. It was just a really tough time for them, and for all of us who were rooting for them.
Hart explained that the reason and way Alisa died are still unclear, and Leida is deeply upset and continues to search for explanations.
‘She loved her baby beyond measure and is struggling with the emotions of losing her child.’
Hart shared the heartbreaking news of Alisa’s passing and stated that Eric and Leida are still deeply saddened by the loss. They have requested privacy, kindness, and understanding as they continue to grieve.
Said Hart stated that Leida is facing numerous accusations of misconduct, but he isn’t surprised, given the years of unfair negative attention and social media scrutiny she’s experienced since appearing on 90 Day Fiancé in 2018.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Rosenbrook will not go to jail for a DUI related to an incident that happened on July 5, 2025.
Rosenbrook entered a no contest plea to the charge, the outlet reported, citing legal documents.
Okay, so thankfully, two of the charges against him were dropped! Still, it’s not great – he’s gotta pay almost a thousand dollars in fines, and they’ve suspended his license for SIX months! Can you believe it? Plus, he has to go to some alcohol assessment thing. I’m just so worried about him, even with those two charges gone… it’s just a lot.
