Heeseung is leaving Enhypen to embark on his solo career.
Belift Lab announced on Tuesday that the K-pop group will continue with six members – Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-Ki – after a 24-year-old performer has left the group.
After talking with each member about their goals and the team’s future, the label realized HEESEUNG has a clear idea of the music he wants to make, and they’ve decided to support his vision, according to a post on X.

The band is currently on their third world tour, called ‘Walk the Line,’ and will be performing at BMO Stadium on Saturday.
We know it’s hard to explain everything quickly, but this decision was made after a lot of careful thought. We realize this news might be upsetting or cause a variety of feelings, and we appreciate your understanding that it was made to ensure the best future for ENHYPEN and HEESEUNG.
Befit Lab said Heeseung will remain with the label and is working on a solo album.
As a long-time follower of Enhypen, I was surprised to see the news, and then I checked Weverse to see what the members had to say. Heeseung, who’s been with the group since they were formed on the reality show “I-Land” back in 2020, posted a message to fans. It’s always interesting to get their direct thoughts, and I was curious to see how he addressed everything.
He shared that the past six years have been incredibly meaningful, filled with moments he struggles to describe. He considers these experiences to be highlights of his life and promises to always be ENHYPEN’s biggest supporter.

He expressed gratitude to his former bandmates and fans (known as Engenes), explaining that he left the group because he wanted the freedom to create and share his music in his own way, without influencing the group’s overall direction. Heeseung shared that he’s currently focused on a new project and looks forward to returning with improved work and a more developed artistic identity as soon as he can.
The other members of Enhypen shared messages of thanks to their fans and voiced their support for Heeseung on social media.
The band ENHYPEN announced on X that they respect and support Heeseung’s decision to pursue a new path. They expressed their commitment to continued growth and promised to cherish every experience as they move forward, becoming an even stronger group.
