Nicola Peltz shares behind-the-scenes snaps of her gory makeover for The Beauty as she praises the ‘best team ever’

Nicola Peltz posted photos showing the process of her dramatic makeup for the FX series, ‘The Beauty,’ and complimented the show’s incredible team.

The 31-year-old actress portrayed a younger Franny, the character originally played by Isabella Rossellini, in the last episode of the horror series.

On Monday, Nicola posted some behind-the-scenes photos from filming on Instagram, showcasing detailed close-ups of the special effects makeup used to create realistic gore.

She posted a picture of the special effects crew putting fake blood on her neck, and another photo of her working on a scene with Ashton Kutcher.

I spotted Brooklyn Beckham hanging out on set with Nicola today! She shared a sweet picture of him watching her film, and it was just the cutest support moment. It’s so lovely to see them cheering each other on in their careers.

She expressed her gratitude to the team at @thebeautyfx for letting her be a part of their project, saying she was honored to play the role of Franny.

The audience watched in horror as Franny was forcibly given the age-reversing drug by her sons, finally succumbing to its effects after years of her husband’s use.

Despite the drug causing terrible side effects – reports included users, like Bella Hadid, dissolving into a gelatinous substance – it continued to be used.

Franny woke up feeling disoriented after the drug wore off, and was shocked to discover she had been transformed into a younger version of herself, portrayed by Nicola.

The actress wore a sparkly top and low-waisted skirt, reminiscent of the famous outfit Isabella Rossellini wore in the 1992 movie Death Becomes Her.

After taking the drug, she expressed feeling stuck in her childhood body, and in a desperate act of protest, she attempted suicide by cutting her neck with a shard of broken pottery.

‘I feel like a prisoner, trapped inside a body that is not mine,’ Franny told Byron.

All of my accomplishments, everything I’ve gained, even the marks on my body that tell my story and the years I’ve lived – it’s all been stolen from me.

He was stunned when he first saw her standing up to Kutcher’s character, and simply asked, ‘Franny?’

She snapped at him, “Don’t pretend to be so shocked, you arrogant jerk.” He immediately stammered, “No, I—I really didn’t know. I promise!”

She said they understood perfectly what she desired and took the steps needed to fulfill it, apparently speaking about her sons who had given her the drug.

Kutcher then said while slowly approaching her, ‘I admit I’m not… upset. You’re so f***ing hot.’

The show then depicted Franny trying to end her life, and despite her wanting to let go, she was kept alive on life support in an opulent ballroom.

Nicola has appeared in several well-known projects, including roles in The Bates Motel, The Last Airbender, and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

She also recently took on a leading role in the 2024 film Lola – which she also wrote and directed.

Her latest TV appearance was in the 2022 biographical drama miniseries, Welcome to Chippendales.

Last week, Nicola paid a special tribute to Brooklyn in celebration of his 27th birthday.

She posted a picture with her husband, surrounded by birthday balloons, and wished him a happy birthday, hoping all his dreams come true.

You have a way of brightening up any space, and everyone who meets you instantly falls in love with you. You’re truly one of a kind, and I’m so lucky to be your wife. I love you more than words can say.

Responding to her birthday tribute, he wrote: ‘I love you baby girl.’

Nicola had a sweet surprise for Brooklyn: a box of twenty-one custom iced cakes, each shaped to spell out ‘Happy Birthday Brooklyn’.

It’s just the sweetest thing to witness a loved one enjoying their first bite of cake! As I watched, she playfully exclaimed ‘Make a wish!’ and then, with so much affection, told him ‘I love you. I hope your wishes come true.’ It’s those little moments, filled with love and hopeful anticipation, that truly make life special, don’t you think?

Just a few hours before, Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, posted birthday messages for him, but he hasn’t publicly responded to their wishes yet.

David shared a childhood photo of his son and wished him a happy 27th birthday on Instagram. He affectionately referred to his son as ‘Bust’ – a nickname from childhood – and tagged his wife, Victoria, in the post. He finished with a sweet message saying, ‘We love you.’

Shortly after, Victoria posted the same picture and wished Brooklyn a happy birthday, adding a message saying how much they loved him. She then shared a photo of herself happily with her son, along with several heart emojis.

Brooklyn Beckham’s 23-year-old brother, Romeo, shared a childhood photo of the two of them on Wednesday, but didn’t write anything to go with it.

Brooklyn’s grandparents, Ted and Hilary Beckham, shared birthday wishes with photos, including pictures of his wife, Nicola.

Recent updates indicate that Brooklyn is communicating with his grandparents, Ted and Hilary, despite still being distant from his parents. He’s been in touch with them consistently.

Brooklyn, who now lives in the US with his wife, recently shared a detailed six-page statement on Instagram explaining his wish to separate from his family, and included shocking claims about them.

In a social media post in January, he accused his parents of trying to ruin his marriage and of valuing their public image more than their family.
