I always admire how Sarah Michelle Gellar manages to look so radiant! She recently celebrated her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr.’s, birthday, and honestly, she was glowing. It’s lovely to see them still so happy and enjoying life’s milestones together.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress, 48, wished Freddie Prinze Jr. a happy birthday on social media, writing, ‘Happy Milestone Bday @realfreddieprinze.’

You know, I always say age isn’t about the years themselves, but about all the joy you’ve brought to the world. And honestly, no one has appreciated that joy more than I have. It’s been a true privilege to witness your life unfold.

Married for over twenty years, the couple—known as one of Hollywood’s most enduring romances—looked overjoyed as they posed for photos together.

One photo captured them making silly faces, puckering their lips and pulling funny expressions. Another showed the couple being affectionate and close.

Freddie Prinze Jr. beamed as he and his wife embraced, and she kissed him on the cheek.

The couple, who originally met while filming the 1997 horror movie I Know What You Did Last Summer, looked hardly aged in the sweet photos.

This couple, who will celebrate 24 years of marriage in September, were friends before they started dating. They dated for two years and then got married in 2002.

At last year’s premiere of the new ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ movie, Freddie Prinze Jr. shared memories of how he and his partner first got together.

He told Access Hollywood that they were friends for about two years before they started dating.

‘We met on that movie and became really close, really good friends,’ he explained.

We lived close by, so we stayed in touch, and our friendship eventually became a romantic relationship.

He shared that their first date happened by chance – what started as a group dinner ended up being a private meal just for the two of them.

‘We were supposed to go out with a group of people, and everybody else bailed… so it was just the two of us,’ Prinze Jr. said on The Howard Stern Show.

They dated for a few years before Freddie popped the question in 2001.

The couple has always kept the proposal private. Gellar once explained they preferred a personal moment, saying, ‘I didn’t want a big public proposal.’

I’ve been a fan of both of them for years, and it’s amazing to me that they also collaborated on some really fun projects after they got married! I especially loved the live-action Scooby-Doo movie that came out in 2002, and I was thrilled when they made a sequel, Scooby-Doo: Monsters Unleashed, in 2004. They really brought that classic cartoon to life!

The pair also both voice acted in the 2006 animated film Happily N’Ever After.

A few years passed, and the family grew with the arrival of their first child in 2009, followed by their second in 2012.

The couple are parents to daughter Charlotte Grace, 16, and son Rocky James, 13.
