New Overwatch 2 cafe collaboration brings hero-inspired menu to Japan

The Overwatch 2 cafe collaboration also features merch galore!

So, I just heard that Overwatch 2 is teaming up with these awesome cafes in Japan called Disc City Entertainment – or DiCE, for short. They’re making food inspired by the heroes in the game, which sounds amazing! I’m super excited to see what kind of dishes they come up with – it’s a cool way to celebrate Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 collaboration cafe in Japan

Fans of Overwatch 2 can enjoy a limited-time cafe experience starting February 6th and lasting until March 16th. Select eSPORTS CAFE AIM and DiCE locations will offer a special menu of food and drinks inspired by the game’s heroes, including dishes themed after Freja, Juno, Venture, Kiriko, and D.Va, and drinks inspired by Lifeweaver, Hazard, Illari, Wuyang, and Orisa. Exclusive merchandise will also be available during the event.

Our research shows that Freja’s favorite food is Smørrebrød, a classic Danish open-faced sandwich. Kiriko enjoys a matcha roll cake with hanami dango, red bean paste, and whipped cream. D.Va fans will love bibimbap, and Juno players can enjoy takoyaki. Venture’s dish of choice is poutine.

The menu includes special drinks inspired by the heroes: Lifeweaver’s butterfly pea tea, Hazard’s butterscotch latte, Illari’s chicha morada, Wuyang’s oolong milk tea, and Orisa’s baobab beverage.

Overwatch 2 fans can get a free coaster with any purchase. The first set of coasters is available from February 6th to 24th, and a second set will be offered from February 25th to March 16th. In Japan, fans can enter a social media contest by sharing a photo and using the hashtag “OWダイスコラボ” for a chance to win the complete coaster collection.

Below is the full menu, which includes a look at the aforementioned Overwatch 2 coasters.
