Thylane Blondeau is engaged to Ben Attal! The French actor proposed while they were on a romantic getaway in Greece.

After starting her modeling career as a child and being called “the most beautiful girl in the world” by Vogue Enfants, she accepted Attal’s marriage proposal about two months after her stepfather passed away.

On Sunday evening, 24-year-old Blondeau announced her engagement on social media, sharing photos of the beautiful seaside location where Attal proposed.

The French model showed off her engagement ring, which features a large diamond on a plain gold band.

Captioning the posts, she wrote: ‘I said yes to my best friend. Here’s to forever.’ 

Twenty-eight-year-old Attal went to great lengths to prepare for his proposal, even creating a romantic path of red rose petals leading to an outdoor table overlooking the ocean.

In 2020, Blondeau started dating Attal, not long after her relationship with French DJ Milane Meritte ended.

Patrick Blondeau’s daughter began her modeling career at a very young age, famously walking for Jean Paul Gaultier when she was just four years old. At ten, she made history as the youngest model ever featured in Vogue Paris.

She became instantly famous in 2006, when she was just six years old, after Vogue Enfants magazine called her ‘the most beautiful girl in the world.’

She received this honor twice. Eleven years after first winning, Thylane was again named the most beautiful woman by TC Candler in their 2018 awards.

The editorial received criticism when it was published, with some people finding Blondeau’s clothing and makeup too suggestive.

Veronika Loubry, Kate Moss’s mother and a fashion designer, publicly defended the controversial magazine cover. She told a French newspaper that the only shocking thing about the photo was the extremely expensive necklace Moss was wearing – valued at 3 million Euros (around $4.3 million).

Blondeau’s parents were married for fourteen years, from 2002 until 2016, when they divorced. Her mother later began a relationship with producer Gérard Kadoche.

They were together for nearly ten years before his death this week and were engaged to be married.

Gérard died in December after a battle with pancreatic cancer. The model shared a tribute to him on her social media account on Thursday.

I feel like I’m crying with them, honestly. It’s just… everything. He meant the world to them, and you can just feel the pain in her words. I’m completely heartbroken for her and the whole family.

You mean so much to me and have always been a huge part of my life. I’m incredibly thankful for all your lessons and everything you did for my family – my mom and brother, and me. Things won’t ever be quite the same without you.

You were so brave and fought so hard – we’re incredibly proud of you, our little miracle, Gégé. I’m going to miss you terribly, especially playing music with you. But I know that every time I play my guitar, I’ll feel like you’re right there with me.

You know, seeing how excited you were about my brand meant the world to me. I want you to know I’m completely dedicated to making it a success – I’ll pour my heart and soul into it, and I promise to work even harder to make you incredibly proud.

I’m so grateful for your constant belief in me. You always motivated, supported, and loved me, and I’ll cherish that forever.

As I mentioned yesterday, I promise to always look after Mom, my little brother, and my sisters.
