Roxy Jacenko shares VERY cryptic three-word response following claims she’s a frontrunner to replace Jackie ‘O’ Henderson as Kyle Sandilands’s new co-host

Roxy Jacenko offered a vague answer when asked if she might take over as Kyle Sandilands’ radio co-host, currently held by Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

After Henderson unexpectedly left The Kyle & Jackie O Show last week, Jacenko, 45, is now considered a top candidate to take over the popular radio spot.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Sophie Monk, 46, and model Cheyenne Tozzi, 37, are leading candidates to fill the vacant position.

The publication claimed that both Jacenko and Tozzi had indicated that they would ‘love the job.’

When the Daily Mail asked her about the accusations on Monday, she gave a very vague, three-word reply that left things even more unclear.

‘Would be fun,’ Jacenko said.

Okay, so someone who knows things told me that Roxy Jacenko is going to be amazing with Kyle! Seriously, her super direct, no-nonsense attitude is exactly what Kyle needs to bounce off of – his loud, energetic style will be perfect with her being so straight to the point. It’s a match made in radio heaven, I’m telling you!

According to a source, Roxy is skilled at creating attention-grabbing headlines, which will be valuable for keeping the show popular and listeners interested while the network goes through significant changes.

Although Jacenko hasn’t worked in radio professionally, she’s often appeared as a guest on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

She is also quite familiar in the podcasting space, having appeared on many high-profile shows.

As a peek behind the scenes is something I always enjoy sharing, in 2019 I launched a podcast called ‘The Insider’. It was a really fun way to give everyone a look at what life is really like in the PR world, and specifically, how my agency, Sweaty Betty, operates. Sadly, it didn’t last long, but I loved being able to share that inside view while it ran!

Currently, Sophie Monk appears to be the leading candidate for the highly sought-after position.

Monk is known for being relatable, playful, and not taking herself too seriously.

She’s perfectly suited to take over for Henderson, especially if Sandilands comes back to hosting after his two-week break.

People on social media are overwhelmingly in favor of Tony Monk taking the job, and many are actively campaigning for him online.

‘Really hoping for The Kyle and Sophie Show. They have awesome chemistry!’ one person wrote.

‘Put Kyle and Sophie Monk together. Kyle also makes Australian idol better,’ added another.

People were so eager to hear Monk on Kyle’s radio show that they even sent her direct messages on Instagram, pleading with her to accept his invitation.

‘Please speak to Kyle Sandilands about teaming up with him… you’d be absolutely awesome!’ said one.

Several well-known radio personalities, like Amanda Keller, Chrissie Swan, and Fifi Box, could also be considered to take over from Henderson.

This follows Henderson publicly addressing the end of The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Friday afternoon.

According to a statement from her manager, Gemma O’Neill, the radio personality says she didn’t quit or resign from the KIIS FM breakfast show.

She started her statement by saying there’s been a lot of talk and inaccurate information spreading about why she’s leaving the show.

‘I want to make one important point very clear: I did not quit or resign.’

Henderson explained that the story being told about the situation didn’t accurately represent what actually happened.

She expressed her sadness about the recent events and the potential cancellation of the show, admitting it was a complete surprise, just like it was for everyone else.

What the media is reporting doesn’t match what really happened, and it’s been deeply upsetting to watch everything play out.

I can’t comment any further right now, as the matter is being handled by my lawyers.

As a longtime listener of KIIS FM, I was really shocked to hear the news about Jackie Henderson leaving the show. Apparently, ARN, the company that owns the station, ended her $100 million contract after she told them she just couldn’t continue working with Kyle Sandilands. It sounds like his recent on-air comments were really upsetting, and left her in tears, which is just awful. It’s a sad day for radio, honestly.

Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to ‘remedy’ the breach, or else face termination.
