Rachel Zoe, a well-known fashion designer and TV star, is the latest celebrity to be hit by a series of burglaries in Hollywood.
TMZ reports that someone broke into the Bel Air home of a star from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills early Sunday morning while she was away.
According to law enforcement, 54-year-old Zoe was in Las Vegas for the launch of a new Zero Bond club when the incident happened in Los Angeles.
Police were called after a home’s security system went off early in the morning. The alarm company contacted them when the alarm was triggered.
Officers responding to the scene reportedly spotted two male suspects leaving the property.
One of the individuals was taken into custody, while the other was said to have fled the area.
It remains unclear whether anything was stolen from the residence.
No one was inside the home at the time of the break-in.
The Daily Mail has contacted Zoe’s representatives for comment.
This break-in is part of a recent trend of burglaries targeting celebrities in some of Los Angeles’ wealthiest areas.
Prominent individuals have increasingly become targets when they’re not at home, especially while attending big events or traveling.
In November, while at BravoCon in Las Vegas, both Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke, Zoe’s co-stars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, had their homes burglarized.
Hilton’s property is located just a short walk from Zoe’s Bel Air residence.
In August, singer Lionel Richie was reportedly inside his home when an intruder broke in.
Luckily, Richie had a security alarm on his property, and it went off when the break-in happened. This scared the intruder away before they could steal anything.
The break-in at Richie’s house happened after a similar, well-publicized burglary in 2025 that targeted actor Brad Pitt.
In late June, burglars entered Brad Pitt’s home in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles while he was traveling abroad.
Police think the burglary happened while Brad Pitt was in Japan, where he was promoting his movie about Formula One racing.
Teddi Mellencamp, known from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recently revealed someone tried to break into her home.
Mellencamp said burglars fled after a security alarm went off – the alarm system had been installed by the company owned by her soon-to-be ex-husband, Edwin Arroyave.
She later posted disturbing security camera footage. It showed several men scaling a fence and approaching her house, then quickly running off when the alarm went off.
In 2025, actress Nicole Kidman and her former husband, Keith Urban, were also victims of the increasing number of celebrity home burglaries.
The couple’s Beverly Hills home, which they bought in 2008 for $4.7 million, was apparently broken into while they were away.
Someone broke a window to get inside, but an employee who was there was able to frighten them off before they could steal anything.
