Vicky Pattison and husband Ecran Ramadan flee Dubai amid ‘rising panic’ as they drive 11 hours to Oman in desperate bid to finally return home to the UK after three cancelled flights and abandoned escape to Australia

Vicky Pattison has let her fans know that she and her husband, Ercan Ramadan, are trying to leave Dubai. This comes after the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran caused disruption in the United Arab Emirates.

The 32-year-old TV star shared that they had to drive 11 hours to Oman due to growing concerns, hoping to finally catch a flight back home to the UK. Their previous three flights had been cancelled.

Vicky shared that she and her friends had given up on their plan to fly to Australia or New Zealand. They now want to return home as quickly and safely as possible to be with their dogs, Milo and Max.

She shared photos from their recent trip to Oman and explained their recent silence online. They hadn’t wanted to say anything that could be misinterpreted or contribute to the growing anxiety surrounding a rapidly changing and sensitive situation.

Thank you so much for all your kind messages! We wanted to let everyone know that we’re okay. We had three flights cancelled, and it became clear we wouldn’t be able to reach Australia and New Zealand. So, we focused on getting home quickly and safely.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been hearing from a lot of people about their travel decisions lately. She and her family ultimately chose Oman as the best way to make that happen.

My friends and I traveled from Dubai to Oman with a private car service, @skyevipcarrental. They were professional, affordable, and provided a comfortable ride.

Vicky explained that the whole trip took about 11 hours, with 2 to 3 hours spent at the border for passport and document checks. It cost approximately £130 per person.

If you’re currently in Dubai and trying to find a way home through Oman, I’ll be posting details on my account, @vickysvacays. I don’t want to flood this feed with information. We’re hoping to make the most of our remaining vacation days and explore Oman while we’re here.

The past week has been difficult and understandably caused feelings of insecurity and worry. We recognize these feelings, and while we’ve faced challenges ourselves, we want to acknowledge that we benefit from certain advantages.

She expressed their relief at returning home and sent thoughts to anyone feeling afraid or uneasy, recognizing that the world can be a frightening place right now.

We want to thank @addressbeachresort and @uaegov for helping to keep us safe, calm, and informed during this time. We’ll continue to share updates and hope to be home within the next few days.
