This guide will show you how to beat the bosses and claim all the rewards.

Genshin Impact 6.4 Stygian Onslaught Guide: Boss Mechanisms

You need to understand how each boss works to beat them. No matter how good your gear is, you won’t win without learning their patterns.

1. Mandragora Boss

This boss is a local legend originating from Nod Krai and was added in update 6.3. It’s especially vulnerable to attacks using Pyro, Electro, and reactions like Pyro Swirl and Electro Swirl. Avoid using Dendro attacks, as the boss has very high Dendro resistance – 205% in its normal state.

The Mandragora Boss is straightforward to fight. It’s highly resistant to all damage types – 80% resistance overall, and a massive 205% resistance to Dendro attacks. During the fight, it will also summon 10 smaller enemies, and you need to defeat at least 8 of them to progress.

If we take down 8 of the smaller enemies, the boss will be stunned briefly and become much more vulnerable to all types of attacks. However, if we don’t defeat them quickly enough, the boss will unleash a large area attack and regain its full defenses.

2. Knuckle Duckle Boss

This world boss is found in Nod Krai and is especially vulnerable to Electro Charge and Lunar Charge attacks. It summons smaller enemies called Knucle Duckles and protects itself with a shield. To break the shield, you need to quickly defeat all the mini Knucle Duckles, which will stun the boss and make it more susceptible to damage for a short time.

3. Secret Source Automation

This boss comes from the region of Natlan and is especially vulnerable to quick, repeated Cryo attacks. Our ability, Secret Source Automation, builds up a Cryo meter. To hurt the boss, we need to use Cryo attacks, which will lower the meter and then let us inflict damage.
