Guy Fieri looks unrecognizable as he debuts new look at 58

This restaurant owner, known for his distinctive gravelly voice, became famous two decades ago after winning the Food Network’s reality show, Next Food Network Star.

It resulted in him getting his own show on the premier cable channel.

Since then, this creative chef has become very successful, starring in several popular TV shows, one of which even earned him an Emmy Award.

He’s built up a food and beverage empire worth an estimated $100 million.

He revealed a striking new appearance in an Instagram video on Thursday, January 22nd, to celebrate his 58th birthday, captioning the post with ‘Happy birthday to me!’

Can you guess who he is?

That man with the neat brown hair is actually Guy Fieri, the famous chef known from shows like Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and Guy’s Ranch Kitchen.

The video featured Guy Fieri wearing a smart casual outfit: a buttoned-up checkered shirt and khaki pants with a belt around his waist.

The most striking change was his hairstyle and clean-shaven face. He’d traded his usual spiky blond hair and beard for a simple brown side part, and he wasn’t wearing any of his signature biker jewelry.

‘Hey there! After so many years of celebrating my birthday as Guy, I figured this year I’d celebrate it as just a guy. Happy birthday to me!’ Fieri said before blowing out the candles on his birthday cake.

‘New Year. New Guy. New Look,’ he captioned the clip.

Guy Fieri, famous for his playful pranks on his Food Network programs, got a lot of funny reactions when he posted something on social media.

Guy Fieri’s 29-year-old son, Hunter, playfully teased his dad online, commenting, ‘Dad… are you selling insurance now?’ Guy and his wife, Lori, are also parents to a 20-year-old son named Ryder.

Food Network personality and Tournament of Champions winner Maneet Chauhan celebrated Guy Fieri’s birthday on social media, writing, ‘It’s your birthday and you’re giving us the gift of laughter! That’s wonderful! Happy birthday @guyfieri.’

I was so relieved to see Guy post something funny on his birthday! It really cheered me up, especially knowing what he’s been through. He recently shared how badly he hurt himself last November – a terrible fall down the stairs that tore his quad and meant he had to use a wheelchair for a while. It’s amazing to see him back to his usual self, and I’m so glad he’s still keeping his sense of humor!

He said the injury was the most difficult experience of his life in the past twenty years, and he’s been following doctor’s orders to get better.

He shared with People magazine that his doctors are encouraging him to be cautious and avoid overdoing things, reminding him to not regress to a previous, worse state of health.

I immediately knew we’d never return there. It was truly the most awful experience of the past twenty years.

‘But now I’ll be up and ready and healthy and rolling by the time we hit the Super Bowl for sure.’

The popular Food Network chef is hosting his Flavortown Tailgate party for the Super Bowl on February 8th.

While filming his show, Flavor Town Food Fight, he tripped on a step, falling down the stairs and suffering a serious injury. He explained that one foot moved forward while the other got stuck.

Guy Fieri had surgery right before Thanksgiving and is recovering well in the following weeks.

I’m feeling much better now. The holidays were really difficult, but it made me realize how much I value being able to move and do everyday things again.

I usually love CrossFit and hiking, so not being able to do either for the past eight weeks has been really frustrating. Still, I’m optimistic and trying to relax and recover.

After being advised to rest for two months, Fieri will need to wear a cast and begin physical therapy to recover.

He recently told Fox News Digital that after eight weeks of not putting any weight on his leg, using crutches and wearing a cast, he’s eager to start rehabilitation and recover as quickly as possible.
