Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal appear to be getting serious – sources say the singer has moved to London to be closer to the actor.

Singer Ellie Goulding, 26, and Irish actor, 30, have been rumored to be dating since 2024, but they’ve mostly kept their relationship private.

J.J. Abrams’ daughter, Gracie, has moved to London to be with her boyfriend, Paul, who is currently filming a movie about The Beatles there.

Gracie reportedly moved to the UK late last year and is currently in London working on new music, according to a source who spoke with The Sun.

Friends say the couple seems genuinely in love, calling them ‘the real deal.’ Gracie has reportedly visited Ireland to meet Paul’s family.

The couple finally appeared together as a pair on the red carpet at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards in London on Sunday evening.

The awards show provided a memorable moment for the celebrity couple, who openly showed their affection for each other.

However, some people think their public displays of affection might have been for show. Gracie has even been criticized for seemingly copying Kylie Jenner’s strategy of quickly and publicly announcing a new relationship.

While posing for photos on the red carpet, 26-year-old songwriter Gracie kissed 30-year-old Paul on the cheek, and they shared a loving look.

The couple shared a tender kiss inside the auditorium while celebrating Hamnet’s win as Outstanding British Film.

This public display of affection is a big change for the couple, who have been dating since 2024 but have generally kept their relationship private until recently.

Paul revealed in a recent interview his plans to ‘slow down’ his career to prioritise loved ones. 

Turning 30 got me thinking, and honestly, I’ve really come to appreciate the pace he’s found in his work. It’s amazing to me that he started figuring this out around age 23, and now, at 30, it’s really solidified for him. It’s a rhythm that clearly works!

I’m starting to prioritize things that really matter to me, like spending quality time with my family, partner, and friends, and I’m naturally wanting to make more room for those things in my life.

The actor, who usually keeps his relationship with singer Gracie private, explained that he’s always been focused on his career. But now, he’s starting to want a life outside of work, and doesn’t feel the need to always be rehearsing or filming.

Paul recently shared that he’s prioritizing his relationships, following an earlier conversation with Rolling Stone where he expressed his desire to become a father someday.

He mentioned wanting a family someday, but wasn’t in a rush. He said he’d love to have kids, but didn’t need it to happen immediately.

Paul and Gracie were first seen together in public in June 2024, enjoying a romantic date at BRAT Restaurant in London.

Onlookers revealed at the time that ‘they were kissing a lot’. 

According to a source who spoke with People Magazine, they were casually dating and just getting to know each other.

They spent their first summer together going to several music festivals around the UK and were also seen on casual dates in London.

In October 2024, Paul publicly supported his singer girlfriend by attending her concert in New York City, where he was seen enjoying the show and singing along.

Even though Paul and his partner have been showing their relationship more publicly, he’s still very private about his personal life. He explained last October that he values his privacy deeply, saying, ‘I don’t like people having access to that part of my life. It’s really important to me because I don’t get much of it.’
