Holly Willoughby looks chic in blue jeans and a white blouse as she steps out for lunch with close friend Nicole Appleton in Mayfair

Holly Willoughby joined Nicole Appleton for lunch with pals at 1 Hotel Mayfair in London on Friday.

The 45-year-old former This Morning presenter looked stylish in a navy trench coat and coordinating leather shoulder bag.

She paired her outfit with jeans and a white blouse, smiling at people as she walked towards the fancy hotel.

Fifty-one-year-old Nicole, known for her role on All Saints, showed off her fit figure in a fashionable outfit: jeans paired with a black blazer and a simple white t-shirt.

This news follows reports that ITV has cancelled Holly Willoughby’s show, ‘You Bet!’, after she decided not to host it.

The presenter and Stephen Mulhern brought back a popular game show in 2024 with two special episodes. The show originally aired for ten seasons in the 1990s.

Ultimately, ITV decided not to add the show to its regular lineup, but they haven’t dismissed the idea of bringing it back sometime in the future.

I’m absolutely gutted! It’s just awful news that we won’t be seeing Holly on our screens anymore. First, they cancelled ‘Dancing On Ice,’ and now ‘Celebrity Bear Hunt’ is gone too! It feels like a huge loss, honestly. I was really hoping both shows would get another season, but it looks like that’s just not happening, and I’m so sad to say goodbye to Holly in those roles.

A source told The Sun that the cancellation of ‘You Bet!’ is likely to be frustrating for Holly Willoughby, as it was her first major television project with ITV following her departure from ‘This Morning’ in 2023, which came after she was targeted by a disturbing storyline involving kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder.

Sources suggest this news will likely upset Holly, given her strong connection to the show and the fact that this was her first major project with ITV since leaving This Morning.

ITV’s ‘You Bet!’ made a comeback in 2024, attracting a peak overnight audience of 4.4 million viewers. Both the main show and its spin-off, ‘You Bet! On Tour,’ are now available to stream on ITVX.

‘There are currently no plans for a new series of You Bet! On Tour.’

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Holly for comment.
