Yellowstone veteran who is the daughter of a Little House On The Prairie star is now on Grey’s Anatomy

Jennifer Landon, known for her role on Yellowstone and the daughter of the late Michael Landon of Little House on the Prairie, has joined the cast of Grey’s Anatomy.

She took to Instagram this week to rave about how much she loves the role.

I know I’m posting about this a bit late, but I really hope everyone enjoyed meeting Dr. Toni Wright on the show as much as I did while filming it.

‘Learning all of the medical stuff from real doctors and nurses has been ♥️.’

She shared photos from the set that gave fans a clue as to how they do the special effects.

Landon played foul-mouthed, pink-haired Teeter on the smash hit series Yellowstone.

Her West Texas drawl was so strong that she was often funny to listen to, and Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser, seemed to enjoy it.

But in real life, Jennifer is far from a west Texas wildcat.

The actress was born and raised in Malibu, and comes from a family deeply rooted in Hollywood. She started her acting career at a young age, even appearing on a well-known television series as a child.

Her dad Michael was often filming Little House On The Prairie when she was tiny.

Michael died in 1991 at the age of 54.

He played Charles Ingalls on Little House On The Prairie from 1974 until 1983.

Following his success on “The Thorn Birds,” Michael Landon went on to star in another popular show, “Highway to Heaven,” which ran from 1984 to 1989. His daughter, Jennifer, also made appearances on the series as a child.

Jennifer’s mom, Cindy Landon, was also part of the Little House on the Prairie team – she worked as a makeup artist during filming.

Michael and Cindy were wed from 1983 until 1991.

Michael divorced his second wife, Lynn Noe, and married Cindy in Malibu in February 1983.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE it! Before he found her, Michael was married twice already! But then, he met Cindy, and she was pregnant with Jennifer! It was amazing. And then, in ’86, they had Sean! Honestly, their family is just… perfect.

He first married Dodie Levy-Fraser and adopted her son. They later had a son together. He and Lynn went on to have five children.

Losing a parent is incredibly painful, especially when you’re young,” she shared with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Sean was too young to grasp what was happening while our dad was sick, but I had a better understanding. I could tell from day to day how he was really doing.

She added, ‘When he passed away, I suddenly saw things differently and questioned everything.

I still challenge authority and prefer to avoid strict guidelines. It’s hard to measure the impact of his passing, but it’s deeply woven into the person I’ve become.

Jennifer has acted for many years.

She is also known for her role as Gwen Norbeck Munson in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns.

Landon portrayed two characters on As the World Turns: Gwen Norbeck Munson, a main character, and her lookalike, Cleo Babbitt. She departed the series in 2008.

Jennifer won three Daytime Emmys for her work.

In addition to her other roles, she’s made appearances on several TV shows, including House (2011), Chicago Med (2017), The Resident (2018), and The Orville (2019).

Landon played Sarah Allen from 2021 to 2022 on FBI: Most Wanted.
