eFootball 2026 Epic Tuncay Şanlı review: Another stellar F2P striker, but for limited players

With the release of eFootball 2026, a new free-to-play option has arrived featuring Tuncay Şanlı. However, he’s not available everywhere. If you haven’t received him in your game, this guide will show you how to get him for free, depending on your region.

Getting a new, powerful card is fun, but the important thing is how well it actually plays in today’s game. Here’s my experience after using it in several matches.

Tuncay Şanlı is a surprisingly good player. The best thing about him is how customizable he is – you can really tweak his stats to fit your preferred playstyle. I personally like to focus on dribbling, so I boosted his on-ball stats into the high 80s, and it worked really well for me.

As a fan, I’m really impressed with what he brings on the field. He’s a natural finisher, super quick off the mark, and incredibly balanced. You can see that burst of speed when he makes his runs, and he always seems to be in the right spot in the box. It’s not just luck either – he’s clearly aware of what’s happening around him, constantly making those intelligent runs in behind the defense to get on the end of things.

His shooting is consistent and powerful, extending even to shots just outside the penalty area – likely due to his Willpower Show Time ability. Dribbling was okay, but not a standout skill.

He moved well with the ball, which was positive, although some advanced moves, like the Double Touch, felt a little delayed. It’s not a major issue, but it’s noticeable when compared to players with stronger technical skills.

I was surprised by how well he did in physical battles, even though I hadn’t focused on developing that aspect of his game. His ability to connect with teammates was decent too, more than I anticipated.

How well your character performs headers depends a lot on their build. I didn’t focus much on aerial ability, so my headers weren’t always successful. However, if you put some points into aerial progression, your character should be much better at scoring with headers from crosses.
