Laurence Fox is claiming his son was vaccinated at school without permission and says he’s now hired lawyers to address the situation. He expressed strong anger over the incident.
The 47-year-old actor, now known for his activism, shared a strongly worded post online claiming one of his children received a vaccination without his consent and subsequently became very sick.
Laurence, a father of two sons, ages 16 and 12, with his former wife Billie Piper, claims a school vaccinated his children without his permission. He also strongly criticized the current education system, calling it harmful.
In a video posted on X, he angrily demanded to know why anyone would harm his child, and used highly offensive language to condemn those he believed were responsible.
Honestly, it feels like nowadays, if kids aren’t being told they’re inherently prejudiced, they’re being subjected to unproven medical treatments. It’s incredibly frustrating to watch, and I worry about the impact on the next generation.
This is deeply concerning. I strongly urge you to consider removing your children from the current school system, as I believe it’s harmful to them. What’s happening is unacceptable and damaging to children.
In a video filled with strong language, Laurence stated he had previously informed the school that he only wanted his children to receive medical care in emergency situations.
He stated he only found out about the supposed injection after his son experienced a severe nosebleed and seemed unsteady.
Laurence was furious, explaining that he’d told his son they don’t allow unnecessary vaccinations. He wasn’t sure which specific vaccine was the issue.
I’m expecting someone to suggest it could be HPV. I have no idea which strain they’ve decided to test for, even though I specifically asked them not to.
He received a vaccination today and immediately experienced a significant nosebleed. He appears to have lost a considerable amount of weight and frankly, looks very unwell, despite this they proceeded with the vaccination anyway.
Modern schooling can be deeply troubling, especially when it disregards a parent’s preferences and wishes. It’s unacceptable that schools would act in ways parents disagree with.
Laurence publicly stated that a teacher tried to contact him for permission, but he couldn’t find any record of the call on his phone and called the incident unsettling.
Laurence went on to explain that his child is sick, and this is happening even though he specifically stated he did not give permission for something to occur. He questioned where parents are in modern Britain, particularly by the year 2026.
‘Where do we fit in? I am absolutely f***ing livid.’
The brief outburst went on for five minutes, with the person repeatedly stating that schools exist to teach children basic literacy skills like reading and writing.
These locations aren’t equipped for governments to meet their commitments, specifically their healthcare agreements with companies like Pfizer, or any other drug manufacturer you might choose to use for your children’s medical care.
It’s unknown if Billie, a 43-year-old former singer who divorced Laurence in 2016, was asked about or agreed to her child’s vaccination.
Schools usually need permission from a parent or guardian before giving students routine vaccinations.
Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Billie for comment.
The next morning, Laurence shared a second video explaining he’d asked his lawyer to send a formal letter to the school requesting information, and that his son was recovering well.
He corrected his earlier statement about not receiving consent, explaining that he did receive an email containing a consent form, but simply hadn’t read it.
Laurence explained that he recently accessed his emails and discovered a consent form, meaning his consent was requested. He’d been having email issues and simply hadn’t seen the message previously.
I checked my laptop and discovered an email containing a consent form that I never actually agreed to.
Always get permission before taking action, and schools should focus on education, not medical procedures like vaccinations, without parental consent.
He clarified that he wasn’t opposed to vaccines in general, but believed many of them aren’t actually needed.
I’m still not sure what the right approach is, but I’m not completely opposed to vaccines.
I support requiring parental consent, and I believe parents should be fully informed about what the school is asking them to approve.
I strongly disagree with this happening at school, and I’m particularly upset by how secretly and deceptively it was handled.
Billie has shared that it’s been very challenging to co-parent with Laurence, especially given his tendency to get into trouble and create controversy.
The couple first got together in 2006, married in 2007, and divorced in 2016. They announced they would continue to raise their children together respectfully, even after the divorce.
In a 2024 interview with British Vogue, Billie discussed prioritizing the well-being of her sons and making a conscious effort to avoid news or discussion about her former husband.
It’s difficult to avoid hearing things I’d rather not know. I don’t seek out information, but people constantly want to share it with me.
I sometimes need to firmly tell people that I can’t deal with certain things, either now or in the future. And, naturally, that comes from a place of feeling – I’m a human being, after all.
I really focus on shutting things down and sticking to a firm schedule for my kids, just to provide some stability. I try to stay very involved in their lives. It’s the best I can offer right now, she explained.
My children’s privacy and ability to be themselves are the most important things to me. I want them to develop their own identities, separate from my own.
She admitted she wasn’t the right person to ask about Laurence, explaining that anyone wanting to understand him should ask him or his family directly.
For a different perspective, you could ask Richard Ayoade – he’s an actor and comedian, and also my brother-in-law – or my sister, Lydia, who’s an actress. They might have some insightful thoughts.
Laurence revealed in an interview with The Sunday Times that he and his brother-in-law, comedian Richard (who is of Nigerian descent), stopped speaking after Richard made offensive comments about race during an appearance on the show Question Time.
Billie explained that she’s been through some difficult decisions, and her divorce is evidence of that. She added that you almost have to find humor in tough situations like these to cope with everything.
You know, going through a divorce and custody battle is never easy, but I’ve actually discovered a silver lining. It’s been incredibly challenging, absolutely, but it’s also revealed a strength within me I didn’t know existed. I’ve learned I’m far more resilient than I ever imagined, and that’s something I’m truly grateful for, even amidst the difficulty.
I’ve learned through difficult experiences that you can only manage your own actions and responses. It’s incredibly challenging, and it’s something I really struggle with.
Laurence comes from a well-known British family of actors, including his father, James Fox, the 86-year-old actor famous for his role as Sherlock Holmes.
Laurence Fox comes from a family of actors. His brother, Jack Fox, was in the ITV series Sanditon, and his cousins, Freddie Fox and Emilia Fox, are also well-known in the acting world.
Laurence initially tried to continue the family business, but he’s now become known as a political activist and someone who often sparks debate online.
In 2020, he established the Reclaim Party, a political group generally considered to be on the right. The next year, he ran for Mayor of London representing the party, but did not win.
Laurence went on to work at GB News, but he left after making inappropriate and sexist comments about journalist Ava Evans.
He married again last year, to Elizabeth Barker, a podcaster from California who shares controversial beliefs. Barker has publicly questioned well-established events, claiming the Moon landings were staged, suggesting 9/11 was an inside job, and dismissing climate change as a hoax created by the government.
