Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1.041.040 for Ver. 1.041.03 Released to Apply Bug Fixes

Capcom released a fix for Monster Hunter Wilds on March 5th to address some gameplay problems. The update, version 1.41.03, will appear as update 1.041.040 on consoles after being downloaded and installed.

We’re working on fixes for problems like blood effects continuing to show even after being turned off, as well as a few other small bugs.

The recent update fixed problems with the Melding Pot, so this next update will likely be small.

Monster Hunter Wilds March Update #1 Resolves Bugs

Bug Fixes and Balance Adjustments

We fixed a bug that caused blood effects to appear on screen even when players had turned them off in the game settings. You can now disable blood effects under Options > Game Settings > Blood Effects and they will no longer show up.

We fixed a bug that caused all Pop-up Camps to sometimes reset and appear undiscovered during Arena or Challenge Quests.

We fixed a bug that stopped players from getting the ICHIRAN Order Form if they talked to Ichiran while playing offline. If you were affected by this issue, we’ll deliver 10 ICHIRAN Order Forms to your Item Box.

– Other minor bug fixes and system data updates implemented.

To enjoy the best possible experience with Steam, please update your graphics drivers. We recommend using:

NVIDIA GeForce: Version 581.57 or later
AMD Radeon: Version 25.9.1 or later

Important: Some users with AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT/7800 XT cards have reported problems with driver versions 25.10.2 and higher. Keep in mind that these recommendations may change as NVIDIA and AMD release new updates and support.

This is the third fix-related patch released since the big 1.041 update two weeks ago, which added new missions and equipment.  If Capcom releases another one, expect it here on esXX.
