Blackstorm, the creators of Rememento-White Shadow, recently finished a beta test for their new action RPG, Fairy Twins, on Android devices in the U.S. and Canada. While the game’s name might change, no official release date has been announced yet.

Like many players, I was hoping the developers would concentrate all their efforts on Rememento—White Shadow, which paused its services last November to prepare for a new release. Instead, we’ve gotten Fairy Twins, a cooperative action RPG where two characters team up to recover lost memories.

During battles, you can seamlessly switch between characters and unleash powerful Tag Actions as you explore the Abyss. Each character offers a distinct fighting style and skills to learn, and you can also discover Chain Actions that combine their abilities for even more effective teamwork.

You can strengthen bonds, unlock new synergies, experiment with loadouts, and more

The bond system helps your characters become closer and more powerful as you battle together as a team. By playing through challenges repeatedly, you can try out different strategies, and each playthrough will feel unique based on your choices and how you fight.

The game is shaping up nicely, with its smooth character switching, varied gameplay options, and tons of replay value. I especially like how skills are tied to gear and how you can customize your character builds. The combat is quick and fun, and the characters are really cute! While I’m now focusing on Rememento, I hope this game gets the attention it deserves too.
