Kelly Osbourne recently posted a sweet video of herself with her son, Sidney, after responding to hurtful comments about her body online.
Kelly Osbourne, 41, posted a heartwarming video to her Instagram Story on Thursday. She is the daughter of the late Ozzy Osbourne.
Kelly was seen sitting on a bed with her three-year-old daughter, Sydney, who she shares with her partner, Sid Wilson, a DJ and keyboard player.
‘Good morning,’ Kelly said as she smiled at the camera, before the toddler repeated her.
Kelly told Sidney, “I love you,” and then added, “We all love you guys, good morning!”
Sidney repeated his mother’s ‘good morning’ greeting, and Kelly smiled, telling him, ‘You’re the best!’
Kelly responded to harsh criticism about her appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards, calling out those who were body-shaming her.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s daughter accepted a Lifetime Achievement award on behalf of her late father at the Brit Awards in Manchester on Saturday. The award honored his entire career, and he passed away in July.
You know, while celebrating my dad, Ozzy, recently, it was really disheartening to see some negativity pop up online about my appearance. It’s a reminder that even during joyful moments, people can focus on the wrong things, and honestly, it’s something I’ve learned to navigate over the years.
Following her weekend comments, Kelly shared a post from Mia Tyler, the 47-year-old daughter of Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, who publicly supported Kelly with a strongly worded message asking, ‘Seriously, why is it so hard to just be a decent person?’
The statement explained that personal grief isn’t something for public discussion. Experiencing loss can profoundly change someone, and that doesn’t give anyone the right to comment on their physical or emotional state.
Think twice before criticizing someone’s appearance. You never know what personal struggles they might be facing – their burdens may be far greater than your words.
It’s incredibly brave to publicly accept praise for a beloved father who has passed away, especially while dealing with grief in front of everyone.
We should be just as kind to others as they are to us. Being kind doesn’t require any effort, but being cruel reveals a flaw in someone’s character. It’s disheartening how often people focus on how someone looks instead of appreciating their bravery.
‘If you have the kind of energy to comment, you have the energy to be kind. Choose accordingly.’
Right after it happened, Kelly stated that intentionally hurting someone who is visibly struggling is particularly cruel.
It really hurts when you put me down when I’m already struggling, dismiss my feelings, talk about my difficulties with others, and aren’t there for me when I need you most…
These actions don’t demonstrate strength, but rather a deep lack of integrity. I’m facing an incredibly difficult period, and honestly, I shouldn’t even need to explain myself.
‘But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way.’
Kelly recently responded to online criticism about her weight loss before attending the Brit Awards, calling out those who were ‘body-shaming’ her.
