Okay, so I just heard Jamie Lee Curtis say that The Bear might be ending after season five! Seriously? I’m totally hooked on that show, and they’re already getting ready to film the next season, but apparently, it could be the last we see of Carmy and the crew. That’s a bummer if it’s true!
So, the actress who plays Donna Berzatto on ‘The Bear’ posted something on Instagram that really makes it seem like this next season is going to be her last. It’s got a lot of fans thinking we’re seeing her character’s story wrap up, and honestly, it’s a little heartbreaking!
Alongside her co-star Abby Elliott, who plays her on-screen daughter Natalie, she announced: “FINISHED STRONG!”

I was so lucky to finish telling the story of this amazing family, alongside a fantastic team of writers, producers, and actors on Chris Storer’s show. And I got to do it with my wonderful co-star, @lilcutieforever! (@thebearfx)
When asked about the show’s future by Entertainment Tonight, Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed that it is ending. She explained that this isn’t new information, as the creators have always planned for a limited run. “Everybody knows it’s the end of the show,” she said.

Digital Spy has reached out to Disney and FX for comment.
The show The Bear centers around chef Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) who comes home to Chicago and tries to turn his family’s small sandwich shop into a fine-dining establishment.
The show’s fourth season premiered last June and received positive reviews, earning an 84% ‘Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 86 critic reviews.
Critics agree that the fourth season of The Bear is a welcome return to form, delivering a compelling and satisfying experience after a slow start. Though fans had to wait for new episodes, the season ultimately offers a rewarding payoff.
You can watch the series on Disney+ in the UK. Last year, thanks to an agreement between Disney and ITV, the first season was also made available to stream for free on ITVX, but it included advertisements.
Disney+ and ITVX are partnering up to offer each other’s popular content. This means Disney+ subscribers will gain access to well-loved shows from the UK, while ITVX viewers will be able to enjoy Disney+’s acclaimed series and hit movies, according to Disney Entertainment’s Joe Earley.
The Bear seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
