Will Jackie sue too? Celebrity agent encourages Henderson to take legal action after news that Kyle Sandilands has lawyered up over radio drama

Jackie O Henderson is considering legal options against ARN following her exit from the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Okay, so I was reading about Henderson, and apparently her agent, Max Markson – honestly, he’s brilliant – thinks she might actually have a way out of this whole contract mess! He’s suggesting she could claim she didn’t break the agreement, which…obviously! I always knew she’d find a way. It’s just so frustrating that anyone even thought she did something wrong. But Markson’s right, she absolutely has a case!

‘I would be encouraging her to sue,’ Markson told The Daily Telegraph.

Markson cautioned that Henderson would need to demonstrate her workplace wasn’t safe if she wanted to pursue legal action.

According to Chris Gianatti, a leading employment lawyer at KHQ Lawyers, it’s now time to have lawyers participate in the discussions.

He explained that if Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ were in this situation, they would definitely hire lawyers, and ARN, the company involved, is caught in the middle of the issue.

‘To try and wrap up a contract like this is going to be very expensive.’

It follows claims that Kyle Sandilands is safeguarding his contract against termination.

Oh my god, you will NOT believe this! I just read that Kyle is actually getting lawyers involved! Apparently, if they try to cancel his contract after what happened with the show, he’s seriously threatening to sue ARN for a hundred MILLION dollars! Can you even imagine?! It’s all over The Australian, it’s insane! He’s not going down without a fight, and honestly, good for him! I’m so stressed about all of this, but also… Team Kyle forever!

Sandilands, age 54, is apparently trying to get the money he’s still owed on his contract, which has eight years left and is worth $88 million.

The radio personality faced accusations of serious unprofessional behavior following a heated argument with his colleague, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, which ultimately led to her resignation from the show.

Sandilands was reportedly shocked by the accusation of inappropriate behavior, as he was allowed to speak freely on air. The show employed two full-time censors specifically to prevent any issues.

According to reports, the radio personality claims ARN doesn’t have a valid reason to end his contract. He says the network previously agreed to take full responsibility for anything he said on the air.

According to a source speaking with The Australian, Kyle Sandilands would only consider leaving his popular breakfast show if he receives the remaining amount of his $100 million contract – that is, the total owed to him minus any payments he’s already received.

Sandilands and Henderson signed a 10-year deal with Australian Radio Network (ARN) in 2023.

In that significant deal, they reportedly received $200 million and earned around $47,000 for each episode.

ARN, the company that owns KIIS FM, announced Tuesday that Jackie Henderson’s contract, worth $100 million, has been cancelled. This decision came after Henderson informed executives she could no longer work with Kyle Sandilands, following his on-air remarks that deeply upset her.

Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to ‘remedy’ the breach, or else faces termination.

ARN sent Sandilands a written notice informing him that his actions on the February 20th show were considered a serious violation of the agreement between ARN and Quasar Media.

The KIIS breakfast show is ending right away, and temporary plans are being put in place for the station’s morning programming.

A representative for Kyle Sandilands declined to comment when approached by Daily Mail.
