Goritaire turns Gorillas and Bananas into a surprisingly intense survival card game, arriving on multiple platforms this month

Arc System Works revealed their upcoming single-player game, Goritaire, a card-based survival title launching on March 18th for Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and PlayStation 5. Android users can now pre-register for the game.

Get ready to build and balance your own gorilla survival deck

Goritaire is a single-player card game where you try to survive by building a group of at least seven gorillas. You’ll only use Gorilla and Banana cards, meaning every turn requires careful planning to manage your resources. Bananas are essential – run out, and your whole strategy will crumble.

Throughout the game, you’ll need to learn how to use special abilities for each stage, such as Equality and Sage, and build up your gorilla’s home. Your aim is to increase your gorilla troop and keep a good supply of bananas to become the king of the jungle. Don’t be fooled by its simple appearance – it’s more challenging than it seems!

The goal of the game is to line up seven or more gorillas on the ground to win, but you lose if any gorilla runs out of food. Given that it’s made by the creators of games like Dear Me, I Was… and Alliance Alive HD Remastered, I have high hopes for this title, and the gameplay looks enjoyable.

Goritaire will be available on mobile devices, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Playstation starting March 12th. You can pre-register now on the Google Play Store, and we’ll share details about iOS pre-orders soon.
